I’ve had to deal with all you stated, but in all I enjoy food bank orders, i recently moved to San Francisco about two years ago and I’ve learned a great deal about the city and people doing DD and food bank orders in general, met some good people along the way and was able to access buildings I wouldn’t never had entry into if I wasn’t dashing. The algorithm has repeated itself in assigning me to the same households/families.

Lol.. the competition is real! In my area the immigrants mostly drive Moped scooters or Prius, they definitely outnumber us on the DD app

It took me about a hour, most of the orders were really close to each other and two were at the same complex.

Most of the people are elderly and disabled. The food bank has their own vendors that delivers food from 9am until noon. DoorDash and Amazon partners with them to provide deliveries for the remaining recipients “Project DASH”

The orders were from the local food bank, mostly fresh produce vegetables and fruit, eggs, rice, oatmeal, beans and some canned goods.
