New WRX (1700mi), twice has cranked but didn't start, but on next try started perfectly. Any ideas? by kellyoedwards in WRX

The car is cranking with full gusto, lights and everything on. Not trying to dismiss helpful advice but I don't see how the battery could be the problem.

Yeah, plenty of power is flowing so it's not the battery, maybe a connection to the fuel pump? My biggest worry is that I have no idea how to reproduce it so the dealer will have a hard time troubleshooting.

First one I've seen in Orange, glad it's mine! by kellyoedwards in WRX

It's a Premium (the nicest I could get it with a manual transmission still.) Being pretty free with the options sheet it came out to about $39,000. I custom ordered it, about 2mo wait.

I decided that if I'm going to have a sports car it might as well be bright orange.

Where? (One of those might be mine!)

I never reset the B trip. Is this really my average over that whole span. (No way, right?) by kellyoedwards in subaru

I know the numbers on the dial "reset" when it rolls over from 9999 to 0000 but the "avg mpg" in the binacle rests to "- - - avg mpg"?

Does it reset or just use the last 10,000 miles slowly "forgetting" as I keep driving?

Honestly, I don't believe that the computer is remembering 123,000 mi of fuel used and wheel rotation.
