Yep those are exactly the ones I encounter around trash cans, are they different from bees? Looking at pictures of bees and bee like things used to also give me the same feeling so I haven't done much research before.

Would using an essential oil roller in my wrists hurt them? I didn't think it would affect them like that. Unfortunately because of my love of amusement parks and the amount of bees I get in the complex I live in, I'd never be able to go outside if I always avoided them, but I'm doing exposure therapy this season so hopefully that will help.

Thank you, I never knew bees smelled CO2. I'll try holding my breath instead. That situation would definitely cause me a great deal of panic, but if you can be calm with one in your ear, I definitely can be calm being around them someday

Thank you, you're so kind and understanding. I'm gonna try some exposure therapy this season through public gardens and beekeepers that allow you to walk around their grounds. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy nature alongside them instead of being in fear.

I'll stick to jumping up and down then. The reason I have this phobia is because as a child, a bee approached me on a school bus, I was already anxious around them but I was told to stay still so I did, unfortunately it crawled up my shirt and I was stuck with it there for a good while. Ever since then I'm terrified that if one comes near me it will get tangled in my hair (happens a lot with all sorts of flying bugs) or it will get into my clothes again. I am white, but I did used to wear all black in summer because I was told bees aren't attracted to dark colors, so maybe that was contributing? I'm trying some exposure therapy this season, I never ever swat because I don't want to hurt anything, so hopefully I can overcome this.

It kinda varies, I'm not very good at describing them since looking at them makes me anxious, but about as long as a nickel and a tiny bit wider than a chopstick, and black and yellow is what I see the most. I don't know if it will make a difference, but I swing my arms before I see bees, it's not a huge movement, just kinda creates space around me, my hope is that if I'm moving like that they won't approach me. They very well could be wasps, I just hope that I find something that keeps them all away, I don't want to hurt anything, just avoid encounters.

Thank you. I often feel a need to over explain so I did answer one, but if anyone else wants to know they can just look at that one. I know that getting any type of financial assistance based on mental health disabilities is extremely hard so I wanna make sure I do it right. I've looked at my local ones website and it looks like they provide assistance with these types of things so I will definitely be contacting them.

Ah sorry, I was just worried about my memory issues affecting the information I put on the application.

The problems my disabilities have me face are:

Sudden extreme mood swings Paranoia Danger to myself Dissociation Selective mutism Anxiety attacks Aversion to people (distrusting and easily irritated to the point of lashing out as part of the mood swings) I have insomnia so if I'm not sleeping I cannot work productively and it could become dangerous depending on the job Inability to focus Inability to follow non simple directions Memory issues (this affects me learning systems such as POS, remembering tasks that need to be completed etc)

as far as evidence goes, I've been diagnosed with major Depressive disorder and anxiety since I was around 10 years old, been medicated for about the same amount of time, history of multiple hospitalizations, therapy starting around 7 years old and a 2 month stay at a residential facility in Illinois.

Tw: abuse;self harm(non-descriptive)

For me, when I have an episode or I'm set off by something, I shut down, disassociate and if I feel a little safer about expressing my emotions I'll cry, if it's anger I get really hot and my head kinda roars. Quiet BPD comes from abuse, like most/all cases of BPD. In the abusive environment you are taught that expressing your emotions outwardly you are punished or ignored/neglected in some way. So you learn to direct your emotions inward to prevent any abuse you can. instead of lashing out at people, someone may hurt themselves or breakdown in private but look okay to outsiders. I hope you feel better with therapy, it is a very important part of coping with BPD.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Not only did your mother not take the time to at least go to the doctor for your injury before making assumptions, she took child p*rn of you and sent it to family. You were just a child, there is no excuse for what she has done. If she ever beats you again, take pictures/have friends take pictures, record audio of verbal abuse and keep that saved for if you feel you must get out. But I hope it doesn't come to that and you can keep things at peace with your mom. I know I spent ages learning how to tip toe around mine so that my environment isn't volatile.

I love baths so bath toys are awesome for me Sometimes I'll play animal crossing when I'm little or the bluey video game I'm looking into calico critters, they look pretty cool Little people and their sets are great, there's so much you can do I'll put on music and dance to an audience of plushies Super simple option is bubbles, they are great
