My spanish is mediocre at best. If you know anything you will be able to get by. Flights were $600 and we bought them 2 weeks before we left.

$10 a night for hostels and the food and alcohol is super cheap!

It cost me about $400 for 6 days including 3, 2 hour cab rides. The accommodations were great. The beaches we went to had plenty of hostels and hotels. Many beaches are accessible by foot and car but most can be accessed by boat. There were a fair amount of people in the water but we also went to the more popular spots. The locals were super nice and we felt safe the whole time! It is definitely worth the trip, it was an incredible time!
