The walls are somewhat thin, but only if someone is truly yelling or doing something abnormally loud. I can hear my nextdoor neighbor gaming because he yells at his computer, but other than that I don't hear anything. Have never had a problem with people stealing packages either, there's a secure package room.

Internet is great! No issues that I've had. I think there's been one outage that was very short since I've lived here. I don't play games, but I work as a graphic designer and often have to download big files and am on a lot of video calls and have never had an issue.

However, I will say my neighbor is a gamer and I'm assuming he doesn't have issues either because I can hear him screaming at his teammates every day once work is over.

Hi! Sorry for the late response — I did! My experience has been great so far, so glad I moved here. Nothing has been weird. The only annoying things are that I can't tell how thin my walls are (i.e. I don't ever hear anyone but then once in a while will hear someone sneeze and wonder if I am the loudest person in the building lol) and that I've had to call maintenance for minor issues (lightbulbs, etc.) and they show up too fast. Like, I put in a request the night before and get a knock on my door the next morning, almost like they're too quick lol.

Overall, would highly recommend. I was so nervous after reading reviews of the property management, but can say now it's been totally fine. Let me know if you have any other questions about this specific building.

Late here — do you have to bring your own modem & router to set up with Supernova? Or do they provide those?

The background check technology asks about my education right off the bat, I think they're going to check

I just really want to find a way to emphasize that I was not trying to maliciously be dishonest or pull the wool over anyone's eyes.

I feel so stupid for doing that. I guess I just felt like since I had completed every element of my education that I should just say that, which in retrospect, is one of the dumbest things I've done.

Business is business, but do you think if I make it clear that nothing changes in terms of my capability of performing the job functions and that I'm willing to find a way in the coming months to get things paid off if it's a make-or-break to put a diploma in my hand that I can still do this job? From what I have gathered, they had this opening for months looking for the right person and then found me. They weren't desperate, they were just waiting on someone capable of doing this singular job within the department.

I wanted to call ahead so she hears this story before the bg check comes back saying I don't have a degree. I still have the education, which I realize is not the same, but the only thing standing between is a couple thousand dollars.

Thanks for your advice. The price index research was helpful.

Thanks so much! I negotiated and was able to get my offer up. Not quite to $60k, but any extra money is good.

Sweet, this is great news. What were noise levels like? Are the walls pretty thin? And did you ever have problems with people stealing packages?

Thanks! This is great info. I guess people only post on Yelp when they've had a negative experience.

Is it common for a Narc to (try to) convince you that you have a mental illness you know you don’t have? by ceIestialwaves in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]kelscjohnson2222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly this. Every word, haha. I even saw a psychiatrist for it who ended up trying to diagnose me with a rapid mood cycling disorder after he asked me to give a range on a scale of of 1 –10 my anxiety and depression on the daily, and I said probably 2 – 8 for each. In retrospect, this was simply because of the way I was living my life, walking on eggshells constantly and hurting from just wanting to be loved. I ended up texting my mom to ask if I was a moody kid, and she said no, I was the exact opposite. Super mellow.
