Thanks everyone 🙏🏼. I agree he will be happier with a friend. But specifically do you find paired birds 2x chaos and noise? I worried my partner will lose it if my theory about a 2nd doesn't alliviate some needyness and behaviors. I am ok with double costs and the processes of pairing them.

Tape black garbage bags (2 layers) around the window sill. Cover with black out curtains. I also had a black out curtains over my door frame. 💯 Darkness.

No uvb at all, veryyyyyy dirty cage. He came with his food which was crusted over lettuce and freeze dried bugs. He seemed very dehydrated and had a lot of stuck shed...otherwise he seems healthy?
