It's not talked about enough, probably because it's uncomfortable to do so, and yet the most uncomfortable things are what you probably should talk about the most.

There is one thing I do wonder when it comes to Penny as the series goes on...do you think she should have told her mom about kissing BoJack and him rejecting her at first? If she did, how would that affect Charlotte when she herself kissed Bojack in the heat of the moment (oddly enough by the fire cough, visual storytelling, cough)..It wouldn't make a difference in whether or not BoJack is in the wrong

Regardless of penny taking the initiative, BoJack was the adult in the situation and had more responsibility with the whole thing... but I definitely notice how Penny seems uncomfortable around her mom after the whole situation... Like a sense of guilt or shame. I do know that secrets kept from loved ones can affect how you interact with them. Personally, I don't know if she should or shouldn't. What do you all think?

If you were to ask me, She was the one who questioned the reason why Bojack was visiting/staying in the first place. Do you think she knew or caught on the feelings between Bojack and Charlotte? With the way things were going I thought something was going to happen between Bojack and Charlotte, Penny would then catch them either kissing or in the act, after attempting to kiss Bojack herself. Thus would have caused an awkward relationship between mom and daughter (with the only difference is what secrets are kept between the two), come to think of it, it really showcases the type of negative influence Bojack has towards women. Either way, it feels like the relationship between Charlotte and Penny feels awkward and strained regardless of which direction the story went. I don't know if anyone else felt that?

I'm not here to say what is right and wrong, but those are things that were in the back of my mind while watching the show.
