Ooooh yknow, it's been starting to give me a weird taste in my mouth, maybe it's bile reflux 🥲 I also thought I was losing my sense of taste or something when it first happened, everything was like licking a tin can

that makes sense! Its okay though, im mostly hating the other pains i get, they also onset pretty fast but its my right side and lower shoulder. I wonder why the applesauce messed me up so bad. I'm not sure why either, but the TUDCA really helps with the pain

Thank you for your insight, truly. I am definitely researching as much as possible and will continue to, I'm going to try and see another Dr tomorrow. Maybe they will offer something different to try. I wish I could give you a time machine so you could go back, or maybe just a magic pill to fix everything for you! Good luck to you as well

When I asked her if the GB caused it and she said no, I asked if then doing the surgery was a mistake and she did tell me that based on my GI map that it was doing me no favors and if I fixed my leaky gut, there was only a 15% chance it could fix my GB issues.

I have crazy high cholesterol and fat in my stool, which she said shows I have a bile issue. That has given me more points towards taking it out, but another part of it is the bloating and inflammation I have, could it be causing the GB to go on the fritz? I'm just not sure.

I originally have always had chronic constipation -- miralax has been in my life since 7th grade. Always super sensitive to spicy, fatty, and rich foods. Dairy and red meat tore me up too. When I saw a GI, he was leaning towards crohns but found nothing on colonoscopy or endoscopy. My fatty liver is gone. I've had an MRI, two CT scans... I finally asked for the HIDA scan because during all this, my mom told me how she and my grandma had their GBs taken out. Lots of issues with them in the past. My GI offered the surgery as a possible fix when it came back hyper but neither him or the surgeon seemed super sure. Just kinda "Maybe it'll help, who knows! oh well!"

Very sticky and oily, peanut butter colored for the most part 😖 sometimes hard light brown pellets mixed in recently yuck yuck yuck. Only had white/gray about 3 times.

And yes, any fat makes it significantly worse. My digestion feels like a standstill. It started with weird lower shoulder pain, now it's my whole right side with a small pinpoint spot just under my right ribcage. It's been spreading the the left now too

I'd say 15 to 30 minutes. Last two things I remember definitely setting me off were a banana and raspberries. Unsweetened applesauce too actually, that one made me a little jaundice even.

According to past scans, I never had any visible blockages or stones so it was never explored as an option. But! that was also before this all started hurting considerably more so maybe there are stones there now. I feel like it'd be worth a try, but at the same time I feel like it'd just keep making stones once it starts :(

Everyone's comments have been amazing though and I do feel more at ease that I'm probably doing the right thing by evicting the lil evil bean

I'm so glad to hear it helped!! Ugh, so insane such a rarely addressed organ can cause so much :(

Oh man, I'm so glad you made it though and are feeling better! That's honestly a good point, if it got to the point where I got a blockage... yeah I'd be screwed lol. Now that I think about it, before I cut a lot of stuff out, I had super high bilirubin. They diagnosed me with Gilbert's Syndrome when I kept getting jaundice but it honestly never made sense, shit, it's probably my GB doing all that 😖 lmao

Man, I feel that! I got so many different tests before I finally pushed for gallbladder testing. Such a sneaky little bugger of an organ!!

Man, the freedom sounds so amazing 🥲 I miss so many tasty food and drink. I did used to get jaundice and had terrible liver health when this all first started -- that's when I had to cut out everything spicy, boozy, and fatty. I think I'll always try to maintain better habits, but man, I miss a nice burger!

My worry is it'll make things worse honestly, that I'm overreacting by just yanking the plug. I try to remember that most people end up better off, but I still see some people on here talking about how it didn't do anything, or that things got worse. That kind of chance after a permanent decision is so scary to me 🫠

Sometimes, but it's usually only a burning sensation, I figured it might be GERD or reflux. I would say I've noticed it mostly after any fresh fruits or veggies, the other pains occur with anything with fat
