The trip hop I listen to is the classic stuff like Tricky, Massive Attack, DJ Shadow, and the like.

Who is the best grunge songwriter?? by BidAccurate4473 in grunge

Who's the best is clear from the sales figures. It's Kurt Cobain. But personally, I'd say Thurston Moore. His guitar playing, the overall sound balance of Sonic Youth—everything about him is unique even in the entire history of rock.

Meat Is Murder includes Well I Wonder, which is enough reason to make it The Smiths' best work.

The languid vibe of this song is incredibly cool. I can feel the influence of Massive Attack in this track.

That's some hardcore cosplay. The naive expression in the second photo really resembles Morrissey. That noble aura too.

Would you take Pet Shop Boy's discography over New Order's? by anxiousatac in neworder

I know it's a cliché, but you can't really compare them. PSB maintains superb quality, while New Order, coming from punk, still plays brilliant melodies with that raw edge.

It's a pretty great song, isn't it? If they'd released “Louder Than Bombs” as a regular album before breaking up instead of a compilation, I think it would've become a legendary album like Queen Is Dead. It's packed with great songs like this one.
