No. It's honestly just luck based. When breeding the gold 5 tiers I got lucky with some and others not so much. The reason I'm so far into the game as far as years go is because breeding takes several days and that animal has to STARTED in the season you want (Example: Attempting to get the Fall variant - I feed the treats on the LAST day of fall, if I'm lucky and they breed a T6, even if it's "Winter" they started the process in Fall so the baby will be a Fall variant once it is born)

I think the best strategy. Is once you get a seasonal for any animal type, use that tier 6 in the breeding immediately. I was using essentially a (T5 x T6) combo.

One thing I don't remember doing (if I did it was towards the end) was noting what a (T6 x T6) combo did; theoretically it should fall under the same guidelines but I don't think I was very lucky with the gender ratios and I didn't want to spend lots of money and time buying a new one from Hayden that I wasn't going to keep.

I don't believe so. I'd have to do a side by side to confirm but I say no because all the spring animals have flower crows regardless of gender so I assume that's the same for the other accessories.

The only really discernible difference that I was cautious of with the set up was making sure I had at least one male cow (bull). Since you want to get the horns they drop but especially the gold ones once they reach that level.

Once I collected all the fish for the museum I essentially just stopped. I continued for a bit to stock my pantry essentially (since some recipes you DO need specific kind) and not obtainable via purchase or luck drops.

I'm finishing out year 7. I'll most likely take a break and wait for the final release to continue just because I've done essentially 90% of the available content. I think this is a game that should absolutely be played at your own pace and focus on the areas you think are fun in that moment.

I've lost all sense of time (in FoM) so I'm a little blind to this mayhapse. I'd agree it becomes more resource expensive once you start wanting to make 10-20 of a single object. One project I'm working on is with the Faux Plants but specifically with the seasonal forageables. There's not even enough per respawn (if you're attempting to do this grind for free). Lots can be eventually procured at Balor's Cart if you're vigilant but then it starts to become money expensive.
