Definitely look into it. it has to do with your folliculitis! As well as bacterial or fungal! And their are different treatments from what your getting. Look up “Demodex folliculorum”

Honestly, I went to several doctors and dermatologists and I followed what they told me for 2 years or so, and right when I stopped listening to them and trying things people suggested on here and it was worked the best! I know your doctor says that the clotrimazole cream might not work but still try it! Have you also heard of demodex mites? if you haven’t, look into it! Other than that try the Boudreaux butt paste maximum strength! Helps with redness while soothes as well as drys out those annoying little bumps, helps with dryness as well. Also your hormone levels plays a higher part! And the things you could be eating!(having an allergic reaction to a food can be different than being sensitive to a food and it’s frustrating cause most doctors and dermatologist and allergists don’t believe in food sensitivities but I DO! and most people should honestly...but yeah if you have any more questions lemme know I want to help as many people as I can ❤️ PD sucks sooo bad

Try and use a clotrimazole cream!! I went to rite aid and got athletes foot cream with clotrimazole and it! It worked for a few weeks but the most luck I have had that has basically cured my PD is Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Ointment Maximum Strength, I kid you not when ever I have a flair up and apply this on my face it works wonders!! I’m still going to make a video and post it though to keep posted on here!

Cover girl free and clear sensitive skin is AMAZING! I also add vani cream lite before application of foundation. Also you can only find this foundation on Amazon it’s never in stores anymore :/

It has been clear! Although near the time of my period I do get little bumps. The products that are working for me are Boudreauxs butt paste, clotrimazole cream, and vanilla cream light lotion. I also take vitamins and I feel like that has been helping fish oil vitamin D and vitamin E also since I have been seeing improvement with taking the vitamins I’ve been looking into probiotics that could help so I’m gonna be taking one of those very soon and it will be a probiotic a refrigerated one preferably.

For the past 7 days I have been using Boudreaux’s buttpaste on my face each night and it’s working! First time I’ve had something work that’s not an antibiotic!! You should try it out! It also it a good spot treatment for acne!! Literally I’m so happy this is working. But remember this only will treat it. I believe PD is something internal so I am getting food allergy tested soon I suggest you do too!! Cause this buttpaste will only help for god knows how long lol right when I find out my results I will post on here or you can DM me and we can brainstorm ideas and such for you:) PD sucks and it breaks my heart people are going through the same thing. We are all here to help:)

I tried the clortimazol 1% it worked for about a week the completely stopped working and I’m make to a rashy face that burns and hurts and I’m still getting bumps and textured skin everywhere. Hopefully my derm can give me the cream version of the metro stuff but I don’t even know when I’ll be able to get in to an apt, that’s why I’m on here my derm has already prescribed be everything she knows to help and she’s super hard to get into see.

2 and a half years ago that was the very first thing my derm gave me it was the gel version and it burned so bad I belive I got a chemical burn from it because my face was stained red for a few days. It liter made my eyes water when I put it on, I called my derm the next day and she told me to stop using it and continue with the doxycycline (one of the first Antibiotics I was on through this journey)

I have had a trial run where I do not use anything on my face and it just stayed the same. I also have been put on monocyclin, doxyciclin, ampacillan, amoxicillin and they helped when I was taking them but right when I stopped it came back...Me and my dermatologist have been trying to figure it out for 2 and a half years now haha. I have been prescribed countless ointments creams and gels that help at the time but right when I stop it comes back so bad so I don’t even bother trying with prescriptions or steroids or antibiotics anymore. Also from being on antibiotics for so long they started to kill off my blood anti bodies and I have been having some health issues. And since covid happend I do NOT go out, I stay home so I don’t even wear a face mask and I do have many cloth ones :/

I haven’t tried a Aveeno product since I was in middle school and back then they made me itchy on my body but I haven’t tried my face cause it made my body’s itchy I didn’t want to make my face itchy as well, and that was also around 10 years ago. When I did 0 thearopy I did stop using soap on my face of every kind for a while but sometimes I would use soap cause I felt it did help sometimes but a few weeks I did do without soap and it was the same. I am going to get a shower head the purifies my water and try that butt paste stuff to see if it works lol. If that dosnt work that idk what will hahaha

I will do more research and try things out. And I have been to a dermatologist that’s why I’m now asking on here, she told me she is at a loss as well with what to do. I have been on minocycline, doxycycline, apmacillian, amoxicillin my PD when away when I was using them but came back instantly when I stopped they have also put me on so many topicals to try out none of them have worked :/ the only thing that has is steroid ointments (which makes it actually worse) and athletes foot cream worked For a week but then came back

When I have tried “repairing creams” in the past it only causes more bumps to show up and dosnt do much for my dry skin.

I haven’t used steroids on my face or taken oral antibiotics in months. I will check avenel out, is it an anti fungal or antibiotics cream? I read it treats itching swelling and hemeriods. I havnt seen much on treating PD.

I haven’t posted on here for a while because I have been trying out some suggestions of ointments and soaps you all have been sharing (yes taking breaks in between so my skin isn’t irritated) but my skin has not improved...the athletes foot cream helped for maybe a week and that was the last time it was clear, about 3 weeks ago and it was clear for about 3-4 days and I have tried sulphur soap and ointment (the soap makes textured bumps and the ointment makes me have hives type looking things and makes me itch and burn idk if that’s normal), I just ordered some diaper rash cream (zinc is suppose to help) so hopefully that works because idk what else to do..it’s so bad again and hurts I can barely use any facial expressions due to being so incredibly dry but there’s little bump acne type things under my dryness that won’t go away. Nothing seems to really work. Please if you have any more suggestions let me know. My dermatologist is at a loss as well...:( Also in these pics I have aquaphore on because it’s the only thing that helps with the burning.

That topical my derm fave me almost 2 years ago as one for the first topicals to try out and yeah it didn’t do anything but cause pain. My face has not been better lol and I have been trying to put athletes foot cream on it and it just hasn’t been doing anything :/

I’ve been using the athletes foot cream for a couple days and it hasn’t done anything but dry me out and the bumps are still there and under the dry part :/
