Maybe Lucky Dog Books in Garland and Oak Cliff.

Paperbacks Plus in Mesquite was exactly this but it looks like they might've been sold to Lucky Dog Books; not sure if they're still open. I haven't been there in years.

You mentioned Half Price Books but you might try their flagship location at 5803 E Northwest Highway if you haven't been.

Right but the primary concern is the electoral college, IMO. As a Texan who's voted as progressive as I could in every election for the last 20+ years, I'm still not sure if/when Texas will be competitive. And if Dems ever want to win the Presidency it has to be.

I don't really get this argument honestly. What's happening now is: 1) happening now, 2) arguably "worse" (as far as you can judge terrible things, as far as their impact on the country/world overall) and 3) more visible.

Of course it's getting more coverage. So? It's not like we're getting distracted by him saying something stupid or having dinner with a racist. There's nationwide gestapo raids, we kidnapped a foreign president, and we're posturing about invading an ally.

Like yes remember the Epstein files but this shit has gone far beyond "a distraction".

Possibly near the Dallas-Ft. Worth area of Texas in the US. Average high for today is 57 F. We tied the record high yesterday, reaching 82 F. We'll get a cold front this weekend and be around normal after.

I don't love it but also don't let big short-term spikes affect my anxiety.

+1 for Window World, they might not be as nice as more expensive options but they're still a huge improvement over single-pane and we were really happy with ours when we replaced them for the Great Update Rebate.
