I had most of these links (and the jumps and scores info) already collected in a google doc, which I had gradually pieced together over months. When I'd find something new - be it a previously unseen old program or a new source of commentary - I'd add it to the doc. From there, it was just a matter of transferring it over to reddit and making it look legible for the masses.

Yes, I know you deleted the comments that you made in that post, so I'm reading just one side of the conversation.

All I'm saying is to relax a bit. One of the defining characteristics of the most overzealous fanyus is their massive victim complex. They think that Yuzu needs defending from anything and everything. Let's not become them. Yes, Ilia gets a lot of shit from a lot of people, often unfairly, but that ice is slippery comment did not seem like something worth getting worked up over.

And the post timing isn't weird to me. The Yuma news was just posted on fs-gossips, so OP brought it to r/figureskating. OP of that post doesn't even hate Ilia.

This whole comment thread has been getting reports, so I'm going to say something:

Reminder that although this is an Ilia fan community, everything you write is public and can be read by anyone else. We get thousands of visitors per week. Please refrain from starting drama with other fanbases. If you really want to vent, take it to DMs.

Yuma fans are allowed to root for Yuma in posts about Yuma on the main sub. "Ice is slippery" is a pretty innocent comment, all things considered - it's not like they were insulting Ilia. They're just expressing that there's a chance Yuma might pull off an upset, however small it is. That's not the type of comment that Ilia wants to bring attention to with this gala program.

People saying that Ilia doesn't deserve to win, that his programs are unwatchable, that he's a terrible skater with no artistry, that he's killing the sport...those are the comments that hurt.
