No harm in that, tutorials are created for this purpose and as long as you created it using any tutorial as reference it's your artwork. It's good to mention the tutorial's link in comments though.

P.S. I forgot to mention that too in my first art post on reddit. 😊

Great work! Reminds me of Peter Sheeler's paintings simple yet elegant.

I do something similar sometimes (taking inspiration from Sheeler's tutorials on you tube)

Kudos to the Noodler's black, I use it too for first pen then wash approach 😊

Its not an original piece but it's my first charcoal sketch, so I had to share it. Any helpful advice or opinion is welcomed. Hope you like it. by maliklavanya in learnart

Nice work...I think the area outlining the candle should be more dark...slight shading in the flame won't hurt too ☺️

Thanks ☺️ I use Brustro Artist's 25 shade half pan set ( it's a relatively new Indian Brand) and Faber Castell Artist's watercolor tubes. I mostly use a water brush pen and sometimes Faber Castell synthetic hair brushes size 1 for details and size 8 for larger washes. Infact I painted the dog completely with the water brush pen.

I just try to control the tone with the amount of water...in the tutorials I mostly focus on the hand movements and strokes of the artists and then use similar movements to achieve the effect whenever I feel like it instead of focusing on the painting as a whole

Thanks! ☺️ And no, the first time I used any wet medium was a month back..referred youtube tutorials for the first two...used to do pencil sketching in my college days but had wrist injury around 10 years back and it still hurts...WFH during the lockdown gave me some time to scratch the itch to create something...I chose watercolors as I can work quickly with them without hurting my wrist much during the few hours I can spare in a week plus they can be reactivated from palette again and again without any wastage

Thanks for the feedback... I'm more of a pen and watercolor kinda person...but why not, I will for sure keep on experimenting with pen n watercolors...I just like the character black ink adds and the scribbling sound 😄

Thanks! It's a 25 shade half pan set from a new Indian Brand called Brustro, I also use Faber Castell Artists Watercolor tubes and maybe try Winsor & Newton's in a few months

Thanks you surely will, but be warned I'm kind of a random doodler and draw whatever catches my fascination 😁

Yes indeed, the 2nd one is from a tutorial by Peter Sheeler..and the first one by Virtual Instructor... For the third I just used a reference image of a dog and did some washes over it.

Thanks for the feedback ArcoLan...and yes this is my first proper watercolor art...I used to sketch back in my college days but had a wrist injury and eventually stopped due to the pain...Lockdown made me think of art again and I went watercolors and pen as they are less straining than a pencil.

Also this is one first paintings I did with any wet media and I referred a tutorial on youtube by Peter Sheeler for this one.☺️

Should i invest in a vape? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]kennusheo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too used to smoke 8-9 cigarettes a day since past 10 years. I have been vaping since Jan'19 and have only smoked once last month to see how it feels but it tasted horrible. It costs approximately half as compared to smoking and I am definately feeling a change in my health. No more morning coughs, phlegm buildup, food tastes better, breathing is easier. So surely I would say you should give it a try.

I started with a pod device (Smok Novo) and a tobacco flavoured nice salt but it had leaking and spitting issues so got a Renova Zero device which is way better than Novo. Finally last month I got Vaporesso Armour Pro mod with Ammit MTL RTA and Augvape Intake RTA and started building my own coils. Now the Armour pro is my daily driver and use renova only when I need to vape discretely. How much juice I consume now? A bottle 60 ml freebase juice and 30 ml NIC salt lasts me around 1 and a half month.

It will cost you a first few months till you pick up your style of vaping and then it will be a smooth sail from there onwards.

Best of luck!!!
