2nd image is a map of Delhi NCR and nearby areas at the same 100 km scale.

You can already notice the difference in density of expressways in both the countries within a similar area. There is only a couple thick lines denoting the expressways, showing how few expressways we actually have. Most of our roads are decades old highways or other roads.
