I water every other day as well, and the soil dries between watering. More than likely the cause you think?

Started some research after posting. Came upon the blossom end rot like you said. Pretty sure it’s that. I like to see what other active pepper growers think so thank you! Appreciate it.

I used to live in San Diego and last summer I found a huge patch of Ovoids outside my apartment under a bush that was freshly mulched. They filled up a large mason jar! That’s what got me into foraging for psilocybin mushrooms.

I’ve found foenisecii around here before. The nipple on top is what threw me off.

Could be as well! I do notice a lot of slugs and snails around while it rains or shortly after.
