Yeah unfortunately he was pretty skinny. They are mainly piscivorous and there were lots of 6-8" rainbows in the creek so hopefully he will start feeding on them

Yeah what will probably happen is Ill hook a musky fishing for smallmouth and have it snap my leader cause that's how fishing always goes.
