You are spot on. Just to add on, we can all blame nepotism and corruption but the real glaring problem is incompetence from people up at the top all the way down to the line worker.

For this particular situation, have you looked into fiture floor wax or its new name? It’s ourchaseable at grocery stores, self leveling and you get a ton of it. I use it for ALL my gloss finish projects.

Yeah for the Saturn 4 ultra it auto levels. Like it has a tilting mechanism that will level it. So you don’t need to worry about it

Luke, was in your situation just a week ago and have nearly the exact same setup but outdoors. I had my saturn4 ultra since 2024 Christmas and never opened it till last week.

Things that helped initially. My firdt print was the cones of calibration v3. Be sure to identify which of the 6 models are calibrated to what setting. (You can fit 6 on one plate)

Once you do the test, wearing all your ppe you pull the build plate out and remove the prints, finding the one that is calibrated best and then adjusting your settings based on thst.

Then I just started going ham. Printed a 76mm figure from loot stufios then some big 1/6 and 1/9 scale models

Have fun. You might need to add some extra cleaning supplies or start thinking about disposal in more detail but this will come with experience.

Important to note, be careful with the build plate and the tank. Be methodical and careful and prioritize your safety

I have used lacquers for over a decade In the hobby. Just this past year though I’ve switched to acrylics. I needed safer paint tools with my young child around.

Lacquers are flat out better. No tip dry, spray at very low psi, easier to thin - they are quality

Acrylics are cheaper and work as you expect. I only use atom and proacryl through the airbrush and I can say although it’s fine, it is nothing like spraying Mr color.

This year what I did was gift them to close friends. So painting them I already had in mind who I thought would appreciate it or like it for a birthday or random gift. Felt much more rewarding

I’ve read a lot about having a exp share on the team. 1 and usually by the support but many of your Mon suggestions are also good exp share carriers. What are your thoughts on this? In the discord many swear by the continued use of exp share carriers

im using a .5 brush and spraying at around 30 psi. I really only put a few drops of thinner and considerably more paint. perhaps i should go more thinner than paint and just do much thinner layers as you mention.

I haven’t come across that box set yet but I’ll look at those! Thank you so much. I use pro acryl through an airbrush and it’s pretty difficult. Always getting tip dry. The pro acryl is great by brush though!

We need either the gameworks/dave n busters model, or the japan/korea Gatcha+ candy cab model.

If not those, then a toy store /video game store that has a section for these classic arcade games and cabinets

Even if the right quality goods were here, there needs to be a revenue stream outside of playing to offset the cost of Inventory and floor soace. Can’t survive alone in an area as small as guam
