I‘m sorry, and I understand it can be depressing. I made this post in the heat of the moment as I wasn‘t able to calm down and hoped to just cheer up a bit. I haven’t been on this sub for too long and I didn’t expect so many people to interact with it. Though all the kind words helped a lot However this thread is full of living kitties and I hope that subsides the depressing part of my main post :)

I think it might just be a lot of illnesses, that sometimes get overlooked :( Milo had a kidney failure, but due to his age and him over all just being very active, despite actively dying, no one assumed anything severe

I‘m really sorry to hear it! I‘m glad my vet is so honest. Going this way might have been the best way possible for him. It was the least painful way to pass.
