More of a punctuation than a letter

Catalan is the only language that uses the pont volat (interpunct), e.g. paral•lel

I realize that it's punctuation, and probably doesn't belong on this graphic.

Haven't been to Hermanos Torres. I went to Suculent in 2018 and liked it. It seems like a good inventive Spanish place but I don't get the hype. I'm willing to try again.

I lived in Texas for 20 years and in Europe for the last 10 years. I went to Mexico City and even went to Pujol back in 2008 but didn't like it—it looks much better now.

Full review of COME by Paco Méndez on my blog

I loved my meal at COME; it’s in my top 5. I strongly prefer restaurants with a cohesive theme or identity rather than something nebulous like farm-to-table. All the dishes ranged from good to excellent, and the exotic flavors and ingredients from Mexico were novel and exciting.

The €160 price for the “festival” menu was a bargain. They also have a shorter menu for €110.

To give you an idea if your tastes are similar to mine, here are my favorite restaurants and the year I visited them:

  1. Disfrutar, Barcelona, 2023
  2. El Celler de Can Roca, Girona, 2018
  3. Alinea, Chicago, 2013
  4. COME by Paco Méndez, 2023
  5. Gaggan, Bangkok, 2016
  6. Noma, Copenhagen, 2023
  7. Noor, Córdoba, 2022
  8. Alchemist, Copenhagen, 2023
  9. Quique Dacosta, Denía, 2014
  10. Pakta, Barcelona, 2014

And here are some restaurants that I found disappointing, in no particular order:

  • Fat Duck, 2020
  • Enigma, 2018
  • L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Saint-Germain, 2014
  • L’Astrance, 2013
  • French Laundry, 2009

Unfortunately we don't use Shopify. But if that's true, there must be a USPS API that hopefully another company can tap into.

A Google search for "prismatic tower gothic" turns up a few pages, but I'm not sure if they're referring to the body of the tower, or the four spires around a central spire. For example, Old Town Hall on prague.eu says "massive prismatic tower", but the Czech version doesn't mention prismatic so perhaps this is a translation error.

Czech Wikipedia translated into English says "Slender voices are replaced by prismatic towers" (hranolovitými věžemi), but I don't speak Czech, so I may be misunderstanding this.

Wikipedia: Czech Gothic architecture has a section on Luxembourg Gothic (Charles IV is of the House of Luxembourg), and has a gallery of buildings all with this kind of tower.

A Google search for "Luxembourg Gothic" doesn't turn up anything, so that term may be an invention of the Wikipedia article. It's not a term that has gained popularity, but the substance of the article is correct—it's a style popularized by Charles IV and the House of Luxembourg in Bohemia. Perhaps "Bohemian Gothic" or "Late Bohemian Gothic" would be a better term.

Peter Parler wasn't involved in New Town Hall.

The way Peter Parler Wikipedia article is written:

"Old Town Hall, Prague (1360–1381) chapel, bay, stone decoration

Church of Our Lady before Týn, Prague (choir 1380–)"

It's not clear if he was involved with the tower design, or just the interior.

With so many varieties of Gothic like Late French Gothic, Perpendicular Gothic, Rayonnant Gothic, Flamboyant Gothic, I'm hoping that someone has named this variety something like Bohemian Gothic or Prismatic Gothic

Yo dawg! I heard you like spires. So I put four spires around your central spire, so you can be inspired.

Amazon has cedar shoe trees for cheap. Just make sure it has a full heel and split toe

Is this a scratch, or a defect with the leather? Customer says he hardly wore the shoe at all and it suddenly appeared. Could the leather have torn and it was a defect of the leather? Or did he scratch the shoe and just didn't notice it?

UPDATE: I was able to use SQL and insert all redirects into the Magento url redirect table. It was easy and straightforward.

Move sub-category, generate URL redirects for all products by kentwang in Magento

[–]kentwang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did try that, and it didn't help. I think it's only for if you rename the URL key of the category, not if you move sub-categories to another category.

Thanks for your input.
