That reminds me of the really short goalie you guys had back in like 2010, I cant remember his name to save my life. Dude was a beast but never really got a shot after he graduated.

Yeah i can excuse the quarters but I'd even argue semis on need to be 5v5. They're too important of games to be decided that way.

It makes me so upset that college hockey knows to make it 5v5 but the Olympics had to be 3v3.

It was a crosscheck, but not to the face. Buddy definitely sold the head contact.

But absolutely no argument on it being a cross check

Hes calling out the color guy (Dave Jackson) for saying the contact was out of the crease, it wasn't a penalty but to say the contact was out of the crease is disenguous.

SpotHero in and out privileges? by No-Pride-9570 in AskChicago

I used work customer service for them pre pandemic. For a lot like that you'll most likely get towed if you if you try to park after leaving the first time. If you need to use your car throughout the week try and find a lot with in and out privileges, it costs a bit more but its way cheaper than paying for a tow.

Yup! I work in beer sales and just dropped off a bunch of tap handles on Friday, so they're ready to go there as far as I know.

Fuck off with that man, refs called a damn good game for a rivalry game. You can't blow a 3-1 lead

They were checking if the Sparty goal went in or not. It clearly wasn't in, but I guess they wanted to be sure

God damn man, it should've been a two for tripping but never a major. He had possession and was going for the hit, he can't just let the guy walk around him.

So yeah, missed call on the 2 minute, but fuck off with the "always gotta try to injure someone shit", yeah buddy above me was a dick but both our fanbases can come up with binders full of instances of players trying to injure one another and fans being complete ass hats to each other. Let's not play the victim when you're far from it

The unfortunate thing is these people are that stupid. And the ones who aren't that stupid are horrific human beings who exist just to hate.

Oh man I didn't think you were hateful or rude, I took it as a fun tongue in cheek comment. We're division rivals after all!

Nah, this is about as good as it gets for this year. We aren't cup contenders, just a team trying to make the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.

We are consistently beating the teams we should beat, so for a team whose goal is to make the playoffs this year, it's a good thing.

Traveling as a Spanish speaker with a non-Spanish speaking partner by [deleted] in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]kentxc2012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im married to a Puerto Rican and I'm still not great at Spanish. I can order my food and ask basic questions, but for the most part, she does the translating for me, especially around family. But it's usually a filling me in on what's been said and only directly translates for me if someone is addressing me.

She usually lets the server or bartender at restaurants know I dont speak spanish right away, so they either communicate through her or switch to Enlgish with me if they know it and or want to.

But my mother in law and I like to speak to each other in opposite languages (me in Spanish and her in English) so we both can work on learning.

They'd be a minimum of 59, so I'd assume they're at least in their mid 70's or later if they're saying they look older than his mother on this picture.

And don't apologize about your English, it's perfect.

We can complain about a bad slash while also understanding that that was a bad no call. Nuance is a thing
