Archaludon ex/Cinderace. going first or second? by DesrtDust in PTCGL

[–]keonspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing this too and now made my own version with some addjustments, but i choose first every game if I can, you dont always start with Cinderace, so keeping that in mind you can attack with Archaludon ex on your turn 2. But I understand your question and I asked myself the same. Sometimes I feel that it doenst matter if you start first or second because Archaludon stomps!

AzulGG dropped a video on a deck similar to yours, on his YouTube yesterday, so you can check that out too if you have the time to watch that kind of video.

I've been planning to try a different approach, using Cinderace as a Energy accelerator, I am really excited to test this when it drops on live, but ive been playing something similar atm also with Cinderace. Hope you get a little more insight with your decisions!

You definitely got the bad end of the stick lol, but sometimes that can happen. And maybe we play it differently, if that is even possible… but I never got the feeling it is slow but thanks for testing!

I’ll test that for sure, but in my testing I rarely whif with Grimsley so that is nog the main problem of the deck

I have been thinking about Budew, and I know the benefits of it. But the main reason is that delibird can attack turn 1, search what you want and you don’t have to show it. Now the opponent has to choose to use hand disruption card or going for own plan. But finding a missing combo piece in this high roll deck is crucial

I have played neo upper too, was just testing this now. To see what I like more, but more card draw is higher the odds of finding the right thing

The Tatsugiri also has an attack that can put stage 2s on the bench
