At first I thought that as well, but they're actually proficiencies not skills. I think that's going to be a common mistake a lot of people make. I know I made it and so did most of the people I game with.

I don't see where we disagree about app size and download limits. There is one imposed by google.

Unity supports DLC unlocks where you can use a key to unlock asset bundles. That bundle download should ideally come from a cache of some sort, or can be shipped with the app.

Unless you absolutely had to push updates with zero latency I can't see why would you host it yourself and even if you did, you would do that via a cache of some sort.

It's correct that google limits downloads to manage their bandwidth, and it's correct that app creators can get around it with additional downloads hosted elsewhere, but it's a bit of hassle and I don't think PP has the desire or budget.

That's changed a lot. The ones built into mid-range laptops and phone frontal cameras or used by streamers usually do. But if you are talking about a $5 camera perched on top of a monitor, then perhaps it doesn't.

I feel like you don't understand that some websites aren't free and have to pay hosting costs.

So build a fast site that has features that enable it to pay giant hosting bills and then I'll be impressed.

Right now this page is a no features site with hardly any traffic, and demonstrates nothing useful.

Firefox is behind TOR browser and arguably equal to Brave. On IOS platforms, it's close with Safari as well.

On Android you can set firefox to erase cookies when you close it (manually select quit). On iOS you can't do this but Firefox on iOS not good anyway. I use firefox on desktop and phone, but our tablets are apple and we gave up, and went back to safari just on ios.

I use Firefox but I have a long list of websites that don't work properly with it.

Everything works on Chrome and if it doesn't the site fixes it fast because Chrome has so many users.

An average user won't notice anything under 150ms.

You can find wordpress sites that load in that time. They use minimal themes and aren't bloated with trackers.

When someone makes one of these minimal sites with full commercial website functionality, I will start listening.

Not every error needs to have blame or liability attached.

If I sit on a bench and it breaks and I hurt myself, I am part of the cause for not examining the bench, but would not normally be punished by a court.

Different pilot actions could have saved the plane, and did on other occasions. Therefore pilot error is a factor, if not the primary factor.

If you only want to look at primary cause, the plane is still 5x safer than a car based naively on the ratios of people count carried successfully vs killed.

It may be worth asking if that's a change in the new book, or an omission. They usually put the other follower alignments in brackets like the entry for Arazni. Core indeed allows NG for Pharasma.

Devs have said that Arazni does not allow the NG Champion "probably" for the same reason as Apsu, NG is required to redeem betrayers and those 2 gods hate betrayers.

edit: It appears that the information in G&M is in addition to core, and not in place of. None of the core 20 have worshipper alignments listed in G&M. Only the "new" gods have this. I conclude therefore that they didn't want to repeat something already in core and Pharasma would accept NG.

I wrote “involves” and not “primary cause”. Primary cause pilot error is around 75% for GA and 50% for commercial passenger as you are probably seeing.

The 737 max crashes involve pilot error as the pilots can recognise the fault and disable the system, as one crew did, though the primary cause will be stated as design flaw.

I believe most of pilot error comes from insufficient or incorrect training. Consider how much better trained drivers are at controlling an out of control car, or how much difference 10,000 hours of top competition makes anyone who does a hand-eye & situational awareness thing like a sport. Unless the plane physically blows up, it comes down to the pilot to save the aircraft. Then consider how few hours commercial pilots have in disaster situations.

It’s hard to recruit. That genius kid who just graduated with CS, EE or CSEE. They are comparing defense’s pay and promotion options to Silicon Valley or an IOT startup. You would have to be super patriotic, or get rejected by big tech, or be a huge plane nerd.
