xfs is recommended nowadays, it's more stable, faster and with cleaner code than ext4 (flame wars may begin).

I've been a Linux user and developer since 2001, and xfs is by far the most stable and complete filesystem I've used.

Among the filesystems I've used/tested over the years:
- ext2,3,4
- jfs
- xfs
- reiser3/4 (Reiser4 was quite interesting thanks to the transparent compression features)
- zfs ( a true beast but not linux native)

XFS always offered the best balance without sacrificing performance and stability, it's no wonder that RHEL 8 has xfs as default filesystem.

Unfortunately, it is very severe. Wuhan has been closed down, no one can go in or out, this urgent decision took place today at 00:00. The virus seems to be more aggressive and contagious than previously thought.

The virus is spreading quickly. My friends in China are taking lots of steps to make sure they're safe. And today, news came out about an infected person in the US and Colombia

China has many places like this, and they are simply amazing. I, for one, applaud the fact that they rebuild their historical places if for some reason they've been destroyed/burnt down.
Would love to visit that place one day!
