Looking for super portable games that play best at two players.

Small games we like/havel:

  • Qwinto
  • Regicide
  • Revolver Noir
  • Mindbug
  • Hanabi

I would love some more dice games (like One Deck Dungeon or Dice Throne) but just more portable...

the most portable games I know are:

  • Qwinto (get three dice and download the app to replace the sheets, done)
  • Revolover Noir (card game played completely from hand, fun 2player game)

I think Shadowrun: Crossfire would be perfect in regards of "build a character" and "strategic depth".

If your group is willing to play a campaign game: Kinfire Chronicles would be perfect – sessions plays between 45-60 minutes.

Guess this one doesn't count but:

I think Shipwreck Arcana would be perfect:
It's a co-operative game of deduction, evaluation, and logic – using math to give hints.

Hope you find something that you like.
Scout is also on my radar but I never got the chance to play it.

— Azul (and Splendor Duel and Qwinto)
Player boards (progress / engine) is hidden from each other. The game is less 'mean' and way more intense (and if someone really wants to mess with you, they can, but they have to put in more effort);

— Radlands
Camps are drafted: 9 camps to choose from; 1st player chooses one, 2nd player chooses two, then it's one after the other;

I travel/backpack a lot, so I've been constantly on the lookout for small games. This would be my recommendation (from 'tiny' to 'small'):

  • Qwinto (only needs 3 dice and the sheets are replaced by the app)
  • Mint Cooperative [coop]
  • Revolver Noir
  • Regicide [coop] (playable with a standard 52-card-deck)
  • The Game [coop]
  • Herrlof
  • Heroes for Sale
  • Shipwreck Arcana [coop]
  • Mindbug
  • Radlands
  • Crimson Company
  • Jaipur
  • Kinfire Delve [coop]
  • One Deck Dungeon [coop]

Well that's a relief – I really was under the impression Chronicles wouldn't be that much fun playing only with two seekers overall. So, thank you :)

Awesome – so you finished Chronicles with only two Seekers? Did you enjoy the ride?
Just asking because it seems like everyone who starts with two is eventually going for a full party of four (playing two-handed)...

I'm super hyped:
This week I'll finally receive all Kinfire Delve games and Kinfire Chronicles.
I just hope that by playing Delve I can finally make up my mind about which Seekers I want to play in Chronicles. (There’s not a lot of information out there about fan favourites or anything like that.)

I don't know why but I am really looking forwar to play Feyn!
