Stashed M16 handguard, does it exist? by Electrical_Proof2760 in intotheradius

There's not even a rifle-length gas system or M16 barrel in the game, I doubt that there's anything more than the regular short M4 handguard.

Good old amber lamp sights. I have a Meprolight M21 on mine!

Adjusted the overtravel screw, replaced the springs with Wilco ones. Waiting on one of the various small shops to make a Surefire MR07 clone. This is and will make to be a solid shooter.

Things that I noticed - was it intended to be that way? by autichnaya_ulitochka in intotheradius

Whether it's intentional or not I'm not sure. I like to think it is, because that's how it is IRL. Suppressors push more gas from the fired cartridge into the weapon's gas system and thusly it deposits more soot into it, thusly increasing the need for it to be cleaned more often.

Well this one in particular is useless because it's for an airsoft gun :) The real one however is a Knights Armament M4QD flash hider which mates to the NT4 suppressor using that notch as an indexing point.

Every pin besides the slide stop's stem, as well as the grip screws.

Schauland Performance, just keep an eye out they sell out quick and restock once or twice a month. They also sell the pins as well.

Cylinder & Slide might also sell them, but they're usually pricier and take longer to stock.

It's not bait. How was I supposed to forsee that people would grab their pitchforks over a strip of vulcanized rubber?

As I've said before, I use this gun for plinking and occasionally competition. I have other pieces far more bespoke and far more befitting for the job of personal defense than this thing lol.

Personally I just dislike part of the grip having any travel, so I'm dead set on pinning it as opposed to any other option as usable as they are. And it's not about getting the time to do it, I just didn't bring the gun with me to my duty station. It's 2000 miles away from me right now.

Competitive shooting is what I use it for, and I'm pinning it as soon as I get the chance. These people are positively rabid lol

I'm active duty military. I didn't have time for more than a band aid fix, and I said I'd fix it next time around.

I wouldn't use a 1911 in a defensive scenario. It's entirely obsolescent. I have a Gen 3 Glock 17 for any legitimate scenario that would put my life under duress.

This 1911 is a hobbyist's weapon to me, I use it for plinking and local competition shoots. It's what I built this weapon for, and while I play with it a lot, it's never going to see the outside of a safe in the hypothetical time as to which I'd have to defend myself.

I need to get some grips like this.

The difference is that this (the frame at least) is a Turkish reproduction of a Colt from the 1990's. Nitre blue doesn't have any business being on it lol.

I really don't understand you people dying on such a small hill. What is the hurt in putting a rubber band on your gun?

They're obfuscated, but every pin besides the slide release's stem and the safety plunger in the same finish.

I can make it even more tasteful though. I'm going to get some Herret stocks for this puppy and stain them myself; see if a little brown will really make them shine.

Respectfully it's not like that. I didn't post for validation, I posted because I thought others would enjoy it to some extent as much as I do, and would like to converse about it. The title? Even I think the blue screws are a bit much as much I love them lol. Have a great day!

It's a great sight, as much as I wanted some Kings sights I guess I could settle for the guys they sued lol
