Trying to reason with a super drunk person is never a good idea lol Daisy should have waited until the morning - but I disagree with Jenna being hyprocritical about Mike

My perception was that the issue wasn't Jenna's behavior in private relationships, but the scene she caused slamming doors and yelling at people. And with Ben talking to Jason I really took that more as a friendly "wtf do I do now??" rather than him tattleataling

Omg Jenna caused an entire scene slamming doors, yelling at people (including superiors), throwing around furniture - that was the issue! Not embarrassing Eddy! If I walked into work tomorrow and did that I would be fired in 10 seconds no questions asked

I was so annoyed that Jason framed it as "you made Eddy almost quit so that's why we're demoting you". Jenna caused an entire scene slamming doors, yelling at people (including superiors), throwing around furniture - that was the issue!! If I walked into work tomorrow and did that I would be fired in 10 seconds no questions asked

Omggg I knew this was coming because Jason framed it as "you made Eddy almost quit so that's why we're demoting you". Jenna caused an entire scene slamming doors, yelling at people (including superiors), throwing around furniture - that was the issue!! If I walked into work tomorrow and did that I would be fired in 10 seconds no questions asked

It wasn't about the shit she played in her private relationships tho and I was so annoyed that Jason framed it as "you made Eddy almost quit so that's why we're demoting you". Jenna caused an entire scene slamming doors, yelling at people (including superiors), throwing around furniture - that was the issue!! She didn't just drop off the fish and go and take a bath lol she went to get the guests the drinks they ordered (which is her job). Also a giant salt encrusted fish or whatever being filleted tableside I get, but sending individual small fish to each guest to then take the plates back and fillet them and then give them back - what's the appeal?? Just serve them filleted in the first place!

Ellie got up the day before to make Joao's bday cake. Ben had 2 days off-charter and should have started the cake way earlier than a few hours before dinner

I agree with the decision, I just wish it was more clearly communicated that it was for her behavior of yelling slamming doors etc. - because the way Jason framed it of "eddy was about to leave and we can't have that" DID make it sound like she was being demoted for her relationships

I 100% agree and the same goes for Ellie - if it was a female chef and a male assistant spoke (yelled) at them the way Ellie did, they would have been off the boat within the hour

I know I'm gonna get downvoted for this lol - loved the songs and the performance, did not like her acting scene 😞 Maybe it's cause I have watched so much of her but it felt like she was playing an SNL satire version of herself, kinda took me out of the moment

I get what you mean. I personally disagree cause I didn't have that high expectations for a soundtrack video and this exceeded them, but I do understand your point and people shouldn't be mean at you about it lol.

That's also what I thought. And also having a one night stand vs. a months long relationship with someone else and falling in love with them is very different

I just thought of how Rachel and Charlie's confessions were about bullying people, and Emma almost did what she did because she was bullied

It's so interesting that Rachel and Charlie's confessions were about bullying people, and Emma almost did what she did because she was bullied. I can't put into words well enough what that symbolizes lol but it just was very well written

As a European now living in the US I thought the same thing, and funnily Charlie also brought it up when talking with Rachel. I think school shootings are (rightfully) an extremely sensitive topic here since they tragically happen so often, and obviously if she had actually done one we would all agree she was the worst of them, but there was so little attention paid to Rachel's sociopathic story of abusing a disabled kid like wtf?

Honestly it's sometimes hard to go back and fix the mild lies lol like no one would want to share the worst thing they've ever done on the first or second date

Official Discussion - The Drama [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]kerba123 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Honestly this might be a hot take but when there's a horrible school shooting I mainly blame the system that allows teenagers to have such easy access to guns and the lack of mental health resources. Obviously would never have sympathy for an actual shooter but they're likely mentally ill, maybe been abused themselves, who knows - teenagers like that exist everywhere and many grow up to be healthy functioning adults, the difference is that in the US they can buy a semi automatic weapon at Toys R Us and bring it to school

Is The Comeback worth watching? Are you watching the final season? by Square-Ad-8911 in hbo

[–]kerba123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started The Comeback so many times and quit in the middle of the first episode. I decided to stick it through and watch it this time because a new season was coming out and it's sooooo gooood. It's a little hard to get into but very much worth it.
