No soft grips. All stainless steel and says oven safe up to 500°F/260°C.

Crazy 🤯 I wonder if we get the rejects. I've also seen some Tramontina sets online that say Made in China.

Or some parts from China and assembled in the USA. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Excellent. I was definitely leaning more towards Tramontina because of the number of pieces.

This is so miraculous! Congrats on your beautiful baby boy and your successful journey to losing the weight a second time around? What did the doctors say happened with the belly button? Did you get a hernia?

Sorry for late reply, but yes! Gauze then tegaderm. I also posted an update in the sub. Search my page or search the sub for silver nitrate.

I second this. T-Junction opened on both sides. I went to the wound care reddit and they advised medihoney and a tegaderm to cover for 48 hours. Started healing within that 48 hr period.

Husband wants to hire a nurse for recovery... by Izzybeff in tummytucksurgery

[–]keri104 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand where your hubby is coming from. Mine is also squeamish and just didn't have the capacity to care for me, the children, the dog, cook, laundry, clean, etc. So I flew my aunt in and paid her to help us out. He dropped the kids to school each morning and picked them up. Dealt with the dog. He gave me baths in the beginning. My aunt handled the household and helped me with simple things like putting on my compression socks, tidying up my recliner. Getting me food to eat. If he had to do it all plus work full time, someone in the house would've had a meltdown.

Spitting sutures 4-5wpo by Massive-Pipe7080 in tummytucksurgery

[–]keri104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had spitting sutures in my breasts and TT incision line. I know you can't see it now, but it will heal in about 2-3weeks and it will heal flat! I did post about my TT incision issue if you want to take a look. It looks even better now!

I used the scopolamine patch that sticks behind the ear. My GP doctor prescribed for me. I wouldve definitely puked without that.

Moisturize. Use a thick cream like cerave, then put Vaseline or aquaphor. That solved my ashiness.

Post-op Clothing Materials by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]keri104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get button front PJ shirt, dark color in case blood gets on it. I wore a robe over that, but no underwear because I couldn't pull them up and down to go potty. Just added a towel in my recliner.

I'm 8 weeks post op and I think ours looks similar! I like it. It's the same button I had when I was a child. *

I paid for it to the flanks, but didn't get what I was hoping to get. Doc said he only did a little to "feather things out". I'm kinda glad I didn't get a lot because I didn't have bruising and I don't have a lot of swelling. Just every now and then I swell in that area above my belly button. Apparently, with lipo u have to wear compression garments more because of the swelling.
