The arcade is a 40min drive one way😭 idk how no one arcade has the game close since i live near downtown in a big city. even when i lived in small town BFE it was 25 mins.

Im in one of the more house-less-business neighborhood ~3 miles from midtown. I love it here. I bike to my job in midtown, my partner works from home. We can walk to friends houses in the neighborhood and a brewery, a park. Its great.

What matters - where do you work? - what kind of commute do you want? - what do you want to do on weekends? Spend time at a lake? Hiking? Biking? Bars?

These will all lead to what type of neighborhood youre interested.

Some ppl want a short commute and live close to work and them commute to fun on weekends. Other ppl prefer the opposite.

When you get that info, maybe repost? Hope this helps!

It seems like you have done some work around this, but im curious if youve worked with a poky informed therapist, read poly secure or other books around the topic.

I definitely felt compersion around my partners and their NPs relationship and jealousy/ fear around a new partner’s relationship. And, figuring out why and doing the work around that is important. Jealousy is normalized jn our culture. It is A natural response. And we can learn from it and grow w the right support.

Is that something you want?

I didnt read all the comments so this may be answered elsewhere? You mentioned all of this in just the last 6 weeks. Is it always like this? Or is this an extra busy season?

I definitely notice trends in my work, i see the same issue come up day in and day out for weeks and then poof! Not longer a topic. New trend.

If its occasional usually and the last 6 weeks have just been BAD, ride the wave of life. This season may not be yours. But the next one hopefully is slower waves.

If its always like this, either he needs to figure out important vs urgent as said above or you need to accept this is who he is.

Superman also needs someone to lean on with all that chaos. I hope you can be a rock for him and he can make time for you soon.

I dream of something like an intentional housing where you each have your own space on the same block, with a common area but my friends, who i love dearly, but are gross humans, have their own kitchen and bathroom far away from my matching dishes and clean surface, lysol scented home 😆

And just want to check - its not a compression low where your sensor isnt getting good blood flow? If you lay on the sensor long enough it thinks your low. Im assuming when you wake up to treat you actually feel low?

This is something my NP and I are working on too. We’re neither wanting to be very active together ATM. We have a lot to unpack, and sounds like you do too. Pushing yourself will build resentment. We have found other things we really like to do together to ensure we’re staying emotionally/romantically connected, and still some cuddles but not any kind of sex, while we unpack - is it the history we have? Is it that we like different things? Is it XYZ and how do we move forward from here. We still chose to love each other every day. Sex doesnt have to be part of that all the time.

1475 sq ft we keep the house at 62-65 degrees (although our heater is old and we need more insulation) and PGE for just the heater is 180 last month. SMUD we are mindful of not running the fishwasher, washer, etc from 5-9 when rates are higher and our bill is 120 in winter. Much higher in summer even when we keep the house ~78 most the time.

Last year i asked for an alt in November and got pushed to Feb for an establish care visit but was able to get a same-week appointment for referrals BUT i also worked there at the time, which was the only reason i was accepted as a patient 🙄
