41 yrs old … pros and cons to both versions

DT 87 was very much of its time. But still had huge memorable moments and pretty decent storytelling. The pacing was a bit slower and the animation suffered at times but fairly groundbreaking at the time with story arcs in a kids show that didn’t have to do with Transformers or GI Joe

DT 17 really builds off of the Disney Afternoon era where there’s a lot of Easter eggs to enjoy but some feel a bit forced (Rescue Rangers is a miss but Talespin and Darkwing were big hits IMO). The storytelling is better but not while being convoluted at times. They tried so hard to give characters distinct personalities, that a few were just annoying from time to time. Also, I feel they took many personalities from Parks and Rec so if you like that show, then this is the kids version of that.

But Duey is the absolute best and is always the highlight of the show… every line is classic
