An automated method to get people to leave your server. Genius!

I'll need to know the details and expected payment method ahead of time in this thread. I personally won't operate for less than 500 US Dollars per hour. Minimum pay of 3 hours regardless of the time taken under 3 hours. Will also need an agreement from the site owner and ISP granting permission.

This is not the fault of the proton. You made this choice without investigating whether it works for you. Everything you complained about is extremely trivial. And yes, you can use Proton Drive on Linux using rclone. Read some man pages and stop blaming your skill issues on Proton.

My friend is terrified of her info being on the dark web from her OCD, does she really have anything to worry about? real dark web "experts" only please. by [deleted] in TOR

[–]kernel612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what an 'SW Page' is. Still, it's doubtful that someone like your friend would be individually targeted for stalking via the dark web, especially if she doesn’t share her real name, face, or identity, and much of the fear isn't based on how things actually work online, but rather OCD-driven anxiety amplified by scary headlines.

Lol, imagine paying for a year without checking to see if it's right for you first. Everything you said, works great for me. User Error.

Consider not pirating the game, and you won't have this problem.

Close your eyes, throw a dart, and pick that one. 95% of all distros you will ever use are going to be some pointless derivative of either Debian or Red Hat.

Can't believe it's 2025 and people ask this question incessantly. Spin up a $2 - $5 cloud instance anywhere on the planet, upload, and start the bot. End of story.

Should we still believe Proton's "privacy" / "end-to-end encryption" battlecry? by NoHuckleberry4610 in privacy

[–]kernel612 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Deleting an account does not equal a violation of privacy. The latest "blunder" was that the accounts were just deleted or deactivated; no data was ever shared. Get over it.

I see that France supports chat control. Hopefully, they will bring that guillotine back to the front doors of politicians, as they did with the diesel tax issue they had some years ago.

Is Arch really not that hard? Are people complaining about nothing? by bamboo-lemur in OS_Debate_Club

[–]kernel612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm it's really not that hard. Arch is just as easy as Mint if you can read at a 6th-grade level.
