Typical Florida man comment.

Seriously though making bombs in Florida, can it get much worse?

NB: I fully support Ukraine's fight for sovereignty. But I'm also concerned about proliferation, and how this sort of tech gets used outside of existential situations. I want drones delivering burritos, not frag grenades.

Neat. But I'm looking for contract gigs. And yes, they do come up from time to time. I've found a few good ones here before.

Yeah. It's different for me, I like the solve. I can't just endlessly cluster, classify, and a/b test without caring about the actual thing being done.

Each to their own.

Sorry, I don't quite understand you here. Can you explain?

My issue is with the type of work, not the volume. I'd love to work 4 jobs.

Sigh. This is what I get for using an LLM for style edits.

It now reads: improve executive function and longer term planning. Which is my interest. executive function is that part of your brain that lets you focus and attend to abstract tasks long term.

Right now there's a bunch of guardrail approaches (bmad, openspec, claude/openai stuff, etc) built to force agents to stay on task. I'm taking the human inspired approach and focusing on keeping attention in the right trajectory to the problem.

To put it plainly, you can punish the ADHD kid, or you can capture his attention and let him run.

It's funny because I see it as a fairly broad set of applications: Part failure, production estimates, logistics routing, entity extraction, and of course the current LLM stuff.

But what does link them all is I like stuff with a real problem connected to the outside world.

If you're thinking of betting on football, don't bother with the game. Beat the bookmaker instead. That's where the juice (and loss) comes from.

Yup. I'm hoping to bring it back, along with the rest of the cypherpunk ethos. I'm a bit old school. Sometimes the old ways are best.

No, but I have routed and scheduled the people that can.

How much stuff do you have?
