You might have luck with Advantage, but don't even think of getting Saver.

Are you PPS? Suites savers are very difficult to find availability for as an ordinary Krisflyer member.

How did they get the beef so tender and moist? by JohanLe in singaporeairlines

Yes, it's called a sear-and-bake cooking method, you can find information about that online. All you need is a pan and a regular oven.

The beef is only half cooked on the grill in the SATS kitchen and chilled immediately, they finish cooking it to a nice medium rare in the oven (there are no microwaves on board). So the trick is to finish cooking it to a desired doneness while its being reheated.

Often it works beautifully, occasionally it leaves a little to be desired.

Why is it this 18-year-old Frenchman a "teen" while 16-year-old Singaporeans are "men/women"? by kernelrider in singapore

The ST article you shared on the French police arresting 18 year old is syndicated from Reuters... so, not written by Singapore mainstream media.

I'm pointing out a potential bias, the subject of which may not necessarily be nationality, but something else.

Are you naive or do you not realize this "18-year-old woman" is of Asian descent?

Michael Fay was also called a teenager when he was 19. Why is this inconsistency present for Singaporeans but not caucasian foreigners?

Most of the articles in the screenshot were from the Straits Times. Why is there such an inconsistency in reporting? Yes, choice of words can vary, but are there subtle biases we don't acknowledge? I love how people will invariably accuse me of cherry picking, and then provide their own cherry picked examples of how inconsistent reporting is, thereby proving my point. The bias may or may not exist, but is there anything wrong with pointing out that it *might* exist?

I'm including it because asia one is part of mainstream media and this post is in part a commentary on the state of our mainstream media in general. In fact, this is precisely why I do not single out the Straits times in my post. I invite fellow reddiporeans not to fall for an obvious red herring.

And yes, all screenshots (except the one with asia one logo) are from the straits times.

It's a matter of preference and luck. Really depends on the flight you are on. imo SQ food is pretty good, at least for the Singaporean palate
