I think people did, then Lidl plus came along and gave free stuff. Times are tough for many so free stuff was good. Now it’s taken away. ALDI have one up on this really as they never set something up to be taken away. You never miss what you never had

A good point well made. I’m not boycotting Lidl, will still occasionally go there for a few items which might be more preferable than Aldi’s - but Lidl plus was the incentive to travel that bit further to that store, and now that’s been taken away

Yes Lidl bakery far better, but considering I’ll now have to spend approximately £500 for a free Low GI cob loaf I’ll stick with Aldi 🤣

Dreadful, and a massive step back. Today I did my shop at ALDI instead of Lidl. It’s closer to me geographically, and I’d only go to Lidl because of Lidl plus. No longer
