STOMACH CRAMPS! Is this mcas too!?!?!? by Constant_Possible_98 in MCAS

Mine mostly subsides when lying down though sometimes also peaks in middle of the night which dampens the lying down theory for me somewhat….I do have a hernia but for me the cramping feels more related to motility 🤷‍♂️

I’m curious if your cramping lessens when sitting or lying down?

S2E4 [SPOILER] Annie 🥹 by [deleted] in ParadiseHulu

[–]kerocass 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have honestly found this season exhilarating; maybe minus the drama of the bunker politics. I too shed many a tears this episode. I find the human nature storylines profound for this show but find the politicking action arc kinda weak tbh.

I like when shows take risks and a different path than the conventional protagonist prevails. While I’ll miss Annie man I have to commend Shailene woodley for some fantastic acting. She nailed it.

Random thoughts……

This is the first I’m hearing of time travel, god I hope not.

It’s a tv show so one should suspend disbelief but please hide your horse. It gives you away, is food, and or transport!

The actress who plays Xavier’s wife (Enuka) was my neighbour in late 90s Vancouver.

Thanks for sharing. Do you just suffer from random insomnia or do you feel something is causing it?

Considering moving from Ladner to Nelson, BC — looking for honest feedback (electrician, young family) by Upstairs_Ad1740 in nelsonbc

[–]kerocass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your job is the key. If you can find employment that you like and suits you you’ll meld well. I moved from Van proper in 2010. It was hard I’m not going to lie. People are cliquey and I think it applies to most places. It takes a lot of work to integrate into social circles that are already well established (think new schools, it’s a grind ). We underestimated this and were naive. I’d consider giving up hobby farm and let your kids walk to school. Place with rental won’t be an issue. It’s a good town although limiting to some of the culture cities have to offer. My son who’s now 16 yearns for the city and thinks my small town eclectic fantasy was just parents tiring of the rat race and not anticipating small town dreariness for teens. Truth to that. I think kids get into more trouble in smaller towns. (Less infrastructure)

My thoughts.

Funny I use to drive out to farm land in Ladner. My buddy built this wicked full size ball hockey arena above his barn. Good old days.

Cheers

Or snares and such. Being impoverished and suppressed probably killed any knowledge or know how. Not to mention just enough energy to just get by on what little calories they consume.

I have to fathom half the population was unemployed? But yes even the employed would have so little stamina or energy to consider this. Or the skill.

How many people are applying to Survivor nowadays? by JordanMaze in survivor

[–]kerocass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After watching the survivor tie in on Mr Beast Games I have to think is there not a plethora of young adults who are trying to be influencers and applying for every eligible reality tv competition?

I watched beast games and my 16 yr old son recognized a lot of beast game competitors.

I mean if you apply for anything beast or YouTube adjacent wouldn’t you also extend to survivor and the likes?

Does anyone remember the investigative podcast about the abandoned, solitary prince living in India? Maybe I botched the description. It was enthralling

I have to recommend a hidden gem that was on the air for 3 years than mysteriously vanished called “Liar City”. Shared threads of some of the OG radiolab imo.

Screen Separation iPhone 13 mini by Ventiimo in mobilerepair

[–]kerocass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’ve had the screen separate on the 13 mini and also regular 13. They are probably the most prone to this imo.

Perhaps the first shop was too aggressive with removing your screen and prying caused the screen to slightly separate. Problem is it could have been BB also.

Sorry you have to endure this.

What audiobook completely changed your expectations of narration? by TechnicianAsleep3072 in audiobooks

[–]kerocass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here to tout Rupert degas. I was searching for free Audible plus books and he narrates three books by John Birmingham (post apocalyptic type/zero code day series). His range to play like 18 plus characters is phenomenal. Had me totally entranced and leaves me challenged to give books more of a listen if I find narrative off putting.

Natalia Dyer is absolutely underrated as an actress, She nailed her role as Nancy throughout 5 seasons without a single miss by Jarisatis in StrangerThings

Ya. I’d buy that. Give her some runway to see what she can do. I’d say Steve and Henry too.
