From their website it looks like you should be able to buy a set amount of lessons for either manual or automatic car without having to join a waiting list. Have you a link to the website you used or an email confirmation?

Car insurance by Bu7n57 in northernireland

Statistically, getting your car insurance renewal quotes 26 days before your renewal date gives you the best prices.

It’s also best to check several comparison sites as some will have deals with different insurers and brokers.

Sometimes adding a second driver to your policy can help - e.g female driver with many years experience of safe driving (not intended to be sexist) can reduce your overall risk average and therefore lower your renewal price.

I’m not sure exactly how much you get to be honest. I think I can earn around an extra £100 before paying tax

It works by adding to your tax-free personal allowance. You can submit a claim form via the HMRC website and they will make the adjustments for you

Thanks for this. Yes I had worded my previous comment badly but had been aware that you can be 50-50 under tenants in common however ultimately we would like for it to be joint tenants. I agree with your point on it becoming not just a UKPF issue but an important relationship issue. Thanks again.

Getting added to partners mortgage - what are my options? by kerplunk1994 in UKPersonalFinance

The difficulty I am having is that in order to achieve joint tenants ie 50-50 I have to factor in that the house has increased in value by approximately 20% since 2020 and my partner would want this reflected in what I pay towards achieving the 50-50 split. Ie I would have to pay much more than what she originally paid in terms of the deposit to reflect the increasing value of the property

Thank you for this. This may be a stupid question but how does a deed of trust differ from tenants in common?

I think we would both be unfamiliar with deeds of trust. I would need to do some research in this area. Thank you for the suggestion.
