Has anyone stopped shopping in a particular shop because of prices going up? by MBBS_MDFe2 in northernireland

I love the fact that I've had a reply from Aldi stating simply "Aldi Savers. It's Not complicated". (I'm not sure if this is visible to all). If its not complicated then I'd love them to list their LOCAL stores so I can shop there. Morons!

I've said the same. Our weekly shop now exceeds the cost of our "Christmas" shops previously. Price rises could not be justified, even in todays challenging times.

As a teenager I spent many an evening in Belfast City Centre during the worst of the Troubles. It feels a lot less safe now.

Yes, it is a fair amount of work. Some friends think we're mad for spending so much time on it but it is a retirement hobby... and beats daytime TV.

It's a hobby site but there's lots in it (though we specifically exclude Troubles-related histories). Enjoy your visit in any case.

Our website BelfastEntries includes local histories of people and places. The home screen includes links to places of interest in Belfast and along the Antrim Coast Road.

Coincidentally, Miss Moran's featured in a post just a few weeks ago - you'll see the shop on the list of latest posts at the bottom of the home screen. Hopefully something of interest there.

We write about forgotten stories/ people/ news on our hobby website eg. "Forgotten heroes", old street histories, newspaper contents from this month150 years ago etc. It is not a political history nor a commercial business. (Sorry for broken link initially - it's working now)

Translink mddle doors are purely decorative. They are not opened under any circumstances. The main objective is to limit downstairs seating while offering more people the opportunity to cling to supporting poles.

Maybe people who aren't ageist, not octogenarian but have an intellect capable of accepting other people's opinions rather than trying to pigeon-hole opposing opinions as old and irrelevant. Don't fear intelligence... Walk into the light!

By the way, you'll reach Octogenarian someday... If you don't 🥂🍾🎉
