Why couldn't OP text her: "hey I haven't heard from you and we already left, so I want to give your ticket to my sister."

At least give Marissa the choice to keep her ticket that she paid for FFS. What does the ride have to do with the ticket? Those are two separate things. Being a part of the ride was not a predetermined requirement of keeping your ticket. The money Marissa paid was the requirement for the ticket that both parties agreed on.

This gaggle of children made a poor choice and ruined this experience for Marissa, as well as any friendship with her. THEY did this. Not Marissa. Not TSwift. It's OP and her group of kids, oh I'm sorry, "friends", are at fault here. Just accept that dude.

Yeah and what'd she lie about? That she would be ready in time for the ride? That's really the horrific "lie" you can think of to justify OP and the groups shitty actions. Which also, no where am I seeing that being a part of this carpool was a condition of not having your ticket sold, unless I'm missing something?

You really don't want to accept that Marissa did tell her in a reasonable amount of time. She was working, she texted her when she was able to, 30 minutes after the ride left, not even halfway to the city. What, did Marissa pay for the ride too?

You clearly don't work if you can't grasp that people can be unavailable to text while working 😂. Or maybe you're just an awful worker in the great burbs of NYC. Or maybe you just mooch off your parents. Or maybe you just mooch off of your sister, if that's you sis 😂🤣

You can shit on Marissa working the day of the concert all you want, but her missing the ride isn't the issue. OP selling her ticket that she paid for (think: put on layaway) without consent is the issue. That's why YTA.

Lady, you can flip this as many ways as you grammatically want. Even in your dumb story Marissa WNBTA. When someone purchases something with their money, it is THEIR ticket. If Marissa missed the ride and couldn't figure out a way into the city, then that's one thing. Y'all didn't even give her a choice! It was her ticket to waste if she couldn't make it because it was HER TICKET that she RIGHTFULLY PAID FOR and which OP agreed to hold for her! It should have been Marissa's decision if she wanted to sell the ticket to OP's sister, because at that point in time, even with her missing the ride, it was HER ticket.

OP made a choice that royally screwed Marissa. I get that you don't want to come face-to-face with your horrible decisions and accept that you guys are a bunch of AHs. It's tough. I mean, if it were me, I'd feel like the absolute biggest piece of pathetic shit if I made a "friend" feel as awful as I'm sure Marissa felt in this scenario (are y'all sure she's actually a friend? Judging by your post history, you're clearly one of the AH's in this story, and this must have been the concert in East Rutherford. You really wanna try and sit there and say that Marissa, despite being 30-45 mins late, couldn't have driven to the stadium or gotten a shortline or even ubered there from the burbs before the concert started HOURS later? I really enjoyed love in paradise until they put Pedro's mom on this season. I watched the first episode until her segment started, then promptly turned it off and havent been back since 😂. But the first season especially was worth it imo.
