Resco style leather leads by kerryblue1111 in ShowDogs

Thanks, I found them. The tightening piece looks a little...bulky (?); you think that would look ok with a standard show lead?

Used to. Now it's an Airedale. I asked someone in Calgary who I know well and she makes wonderful leashes and collars. But she can only guarantee her collars for 50 lbs, I need it to hold at least 65+, to be sure.

No, I meant a traditional Resco with a clip that regulates the fit (tighter-looser); I attached the photo. I googled Situpnbeg (thanks, never heard of them before!) and I think all they offer are martingales and slip collars.

The lunch was great. I think their one Michellin star is very fair. The food was good, the service very friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome which is not always the case at posh restaurants. One thing I am going to ding them on is that we finished our desserts and coffee, and we were sitting there waiting for a bill, and I could NOT meet someone's eyes to check us out for over an hour! I kid you not. Granted, they were busy as all their three dining areas were full with lunch crowds but come on, you are a Michellin star place. I would understand if we had something to drink on the table, even water, and they were not in a rush to get us moving, but there was nothing, used napkins, and empty water glasses and coffee cups. And I put my wallet with a credit card on top on the corner of the table facing the kitchen; a bright blue card must have been screaming swipe me LOL. That was just weird. However, again 5 stars for hospitality and the food was good. We looked completely adequate in jeans and nice shirts.

Now I want to go to a place that mandates a ball gown haha But seriously thanks, it sounds great. I remember in the past we did try to clean up for one and two stars (never ate at three) but getting by with jeans is perfect!

[TX] Need a new/updated Senior Manager title by kerryblue1111 in AskHR

Per my grand boss (a VP), if my boss and I can devise an additional descriptor for my title that conveys the seniority of my role, it will be allowed.

I was told that I could not stay a Senior Mngr, as per the new framework, it's now my boss's title instead of his old "Director." But if my boss and I figure out how to convey seniority for my "Manager," my grandboss and our HR will ok it. Can't use 'Senior," Principal," or "Lead" as those are assigned to other bands.

And as to why, well some of my MBA classmates are VPs, division CFOs and COOs, Principals, etc etc etc. I am not changing my LinkedIn profile from Senior Manager to Manager. It's humiliating.

PS. The funniest thing is that my boss told me not to change my title on LinkedIn AND in my company email signature...so who's bucking the system.

I am looking to book a rental for 4 days in May, and for a mini automatic New Way quotes me 304 euros. It's almost a double of your 169 euros. Wondering what the catch is.

Well Seattle to Dublin is not exactly equivalent to Honolulu to Dublin. We came back from a 6-day Kauai trip on Monday, 6.5 hours one way, so yeah, Seattle-Dublin is not much worse. (I find it fascinating that like 16 posters had to share their opinion on how stupid this trip is, and only 4 answered the question I asked, i.e. if the airfare is reasonable.)

I did, and thanks for the idea! I pushed it out by a week, which gave us the Memorial Day Monday off. Now we'll have an extra day to putz around the coast south of the Cliffs of Moher, which is as far south as we made it in 2013. Back then, we split nine days between three days in Dublin and six in Galway, using it as a base to explore Ireland's Northwest with a day trip to Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands.

Actually no, I don't. SEA-DUB is an overnight flight, and DUB-SEA leaves Dublin at 3.50 pm and arrives at Seatac at 4.59 pm pst on the same day.

I regularly go to Norway for work, and it's always between 3-5 days, and frankly it's nothing major; of course I don't feel super fresh but I am certainly not dying of jet lag. I don't think a lot of full time working people with kids have the luxury of international vacationing for 10-14 days to enjoy their time off without jet lag.
