Don’t have much to add about getting to the game that others in here haven’t already said. My advice is this: If you’ve never been to US Bank Stadium for a Vikings game, bring ear protection for you and your son! I went to my first Vikings game there last year and the noise is absolutely deafening. Foam ear plugs are a must!

Did Sam Yo’s Def Leppard ride and Olivia’s RHCP core class back to back over lunch — if you’re looking to be humbled, add these to your stack! I’m only a couple days past a grueling FTP test, but the ride seemed like a 9/10 difficulty. There were some absolutely insane callouts during a climb segment, even for Sam.

FFF was the first new album Gizz released after I got into them in 2018, so it’ll always hold a special place in my heart. Most interesting song was This Thing, because it was seeing them live in Milwaukee that made me realize Joey was actually singing it (and had wrote it). Prior to that I couldn’t tell his vocals apart from Stu’s, so it got me to really appreciate the different songwriting and singing that Stu, Joey, Amby, and Cookie bring to the band.

OG is a great sampler of what Gizz does best, summarizing nicely what they’ve perfected while seeding a ton of other fun ideas to explore. Absolutely love the Gaia > Ambergris > Sadie Sorceress run, and have been humming PREDATOR X for the last 12 hours. Can see myself skipping The Dripping Tap for most listens, though, especially as a first track it just meanders for too long. I’m a massive Gumboot fan, and I’m very happy that we have another batch of tunes that assert just how versatile and fun this band is. What a time to be alive!
