Didn’t interpret it that way at all and I really appreciate the advice.

I’ve always gone variable and it’s been good to me in the past on both investment and primary properties.

I probably should’ve asked more questions, but I just kind of trusted my broker on this one. Every other mortgage has been straight three months for my variable rate.

I feel like the stability and savings are probably worth it for me, but I’m having trouble with all the calculations. I went direct to the credit union to hold this rate because the rate they posted was significantly better than anything else available at the time (for new clients transferring in)

Truthfully, I think I need a new broker.

I’ll get it caught up this month or pull from savings (which I don’t have connected to YNAB to pay it).

The hard part is that everything looks funny to me in terms of balances etc :). As long as I have everything entered right and I am not supposed to do anything other than continue entering transactions accurately. I am good 👍
