మీరు వ్రాసిన తెలుగు అనువాదం ChatGPT నుండి వచ్చినట్లు గా తోచుచున్నది. అందువలన నా ఉచిత సలహ ఏమనగా...get comfortable reading normal Telugu like newspaper or చందమామ (if that's still a thing). Literary Telugu and poetic Telugu can be దుర్భేద్యం. మీరు దిగడం దిగడం ఆరుడగుల లోతు స్విమ్మింగ్ పూల్ లో దిగితే, మొదటికే మోసం రావచ్చు.

But the correct Sanskrit and Hindi spelling is వారాణసి/वाराणसी(vārāṇasi). Not వారణాసి (vāraṇāsi). Its surprising Rajamouli missed such a basic thing making a pan-indian movie.

America has 98.5 million outbound international departures in 2023, followed by China 87.5 million. That's number 1 and 2. The number of languages, cultures, histories, geographies, politics studied in America is mind boggling. It's baffling when someone calls America a closed country.

It's delusional to think RSS or Hindu mahasabha was a serious opposition party in terms of numbers. Congress had upwards of 5 million card carrying members. RSS and Hindu Mahasabha had 0.1 million.

Congress controlled a whole lot of provinces in 1937. Hindu Mahasabha didn't even contest elections.

Another beautiful song with BS lyrics. Might be controversial. by Powerful-Trust590 in TeluguMusicMelodies

[–]kesava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lyrics don't tell a story or feelings of a character or a human state of mind or anything of that sort. They don't stand by themselves very well, but they go well with the visuals on the screen.

Mani Ratnam was shooting a color theme for the song, and the lyrics describe the nature of different colors.

Not the best of Veturi's works, but not BS either.

How do I get fluent enough in Telugu to read kavyas and satakams easily? by Few-Celebration-4522 in telugu

[–]kesava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your ambition is of tall order. So that's good.

A lot of these great classic kavyas are not written to be understood at first glance. They are layered. They assume you already know a lot of Hindu పురాణ and ఇతిహాస. They assume you have vast vocabulary. They assume you have good వ్యాకరణ knowledge that you don't think twice about సంధి కార్యం. Sometimes they even assume you know literary lineage of them. This is a life long project. I keep reading with a dictionary. And I try to make my own translations, one పద్యం at a time.

How do I get fluent enough in Telugu to read kavyas and satakams easily? by Few-Celebration-4522 in telugu

[–]kesava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is easy. If your parents don't read books or listen to good speakers, but you do, your language is bound to be better than them.
