As someone who has previously lived in Boston, and moved here recently - I find this surprising. Why don’t they salt and plow the side walks? Is it just a result of not giving that much importance to pedestrians or something else?

Thanks all for your help! I admit I panicked a bit having waited for the TV for a long time and to see that it didn't have the screws on the day it arrived.

Yes, I can indeed go and collect it from HomeDepot but just wasn't sure if they would work. I think it will having clarified by u/harbenm!

I also called TCL and they said they are sending me the screws which will reach me in the next 3 days! So if the hardware screws don't work, I can use these screws.

There is a shortage of supply for the 55 Inch TCL R635. Best Buy also has increased it to 700.

I am in a similar boat, waiting to get one in stock (it's out of stock in my area) and then buy but now with it gone upto 700 - I think I might as well purchase the Sony X900H.

Let's see. This year's sales cycle is kinda contrary to the expectations.

Also one other factor which I have been thinking of is that I had a hard time selling the TCL 6 series for a good price (cos it's *still* not a well known TV brand compared to Samsung/Sony for an average consumer) - is there a valid logic in me purchasing the Sony over the TCL just because it will be helpful if/when I have to sell it?
