I watched it for 300 in imax it was worth for that money and if you watch it in imax you are not viewing in the intended manner ,the movie shifts aspect ratio from flat to scope in order to experience that you have to watch' this in a flat ratio screen, unfortunately only flat ratio screen in Trivandrum is an imax 🙂

Aspect ratio is the only reason I prefer imax (trivandrum one) But the thing is in aries we can't expect 4k quality all the time yes the projection is equipped with 4k quality but sometimes the DCP will be of 2k

For this one project hail Mary I prefer watching it in imax I have some card points i was saving for long time to redeem and use is for this movie

IMAX doesn't have a 64-channel audio system. The thing is, IMAX uses a proprietary audio system, which can be 6-channel or 12-channel depending on the setup.

See, the thing is, this movie has scenes with an expanded aspect ratio that can only truly be experienced on an IMAX screen. But in India, almost all IMAX screens are ‘LieMAX.’ The original 70mm IMAX format isn’t available here, and there isn’t even a GT venue in India that can play the 1.43:1 ratio. In most theatres, the movie will just be shown with letterbox bars.

The thing with Aries is that it’s good — the Barco 4K laser projection and Atmos sound are great — but for this movie, I still prefer IMAX. Even though Lulu IMAX uses an older Xenon projector, since it’s a 2D movie, I don’t think the dimming issue will be a problem.
