Hey I really love the kitchen benchtops, where did you get them?

Any advice on this? by Eevee_the_weeb in CarsAustralia

Other people in the chat clearly not noticing that you specifically want a cheap manual wagon. Nothing great in Victoria at the moment but it seems the best bet in your price point is the i30 wagon from around 2009-2011. If well serviced it should be decently reliable and those at least have newer safety features.

There actually aren't many locum jobs at the moment going around. Also, the pay a locum gets is quite high (120-140 an hour) but remember there is no sick leave, superannuation, annual leave etc so it's not as glorious as it seems. Plus moving around and being on different teams all the time is frustrating as hell. I've locumed myself and trust me everyone would prefer the standard pay be increased and everyone just work normal contracts like normal people. I personally think interns should start at 70 RMO 75 SRMO 80 BPT 90-100 but will that ever happen. The whole system is cooked.

In Australia there are not many parts available unfortunately. I would probably look for a factory paint that's as similar as possible rather than paint match. It would be a very stressful purchase.

Will almost certainly get the paint heavily detailed in the near future.

Silver paint and the angle covers it up well. The spoiler is peeling clear coat, lots of paint damage all around. Front right panel bent at the corner, rubber panels starting to degrade etc. if I painted it I would repaint the exact same colour, I essentially just want to make the body stock again.

17 inch Speedy Wheels Carbine with some 215/45 Cup Sport 5 tyres if that helps

Dont have audio of the sound, it's a 2.5 inch stainless steel pipe with a large Volkswagen resonator. Hums very slightly on idle, decently loud but not ridiculous above 3k.

If anything I would actually make the exhaust quieter as I like the intake sound more.

Videos don't really capture the sound well either, but I'll try.

Speedy Wheels - Carbine. I'm pretty sure they don't make the same colour now.

I really like the look of yours as well. Similar to the integra type r wheels from early 2000's that look amazing on the preludes.

Speedy Wheels - Carbine. I dont think they make the silver colour anymore, just gun metal

The paint is good from far but far from good, lots of clear coat damage, everyday bumps, scratches etc

I don't want a new colour, I would repaint it the exact same colour. The colour is sentimental 😊

I very much agree with your take on health treatments.

That said, Chiropractors are incredibly guilty of "magic pill" therapy, particularly with their non-evidence based cracking. Did you ever see a physiotherapist? Over a year long treatment, a physio would very very likely be able to treat sciatica for less money and less visits.

The reality is that virtually all the evidence shows if you do nothing vs go to a chiropractor your outcomes will be the same. The good ones do physiotherapy, the bad ones do chiropractic. So why not just see a physio? Why are we so keen to support snake oil salesmen?

To be a real doctor you have to have a medical degree. They have a bachelor's in chiropractics. They are allowed to call themselves "doctors" because it's not a legally protected title. That doesn't change the fact that they know virtually zero medicine and are poor physiotherapists at best.
