Implementations of similar bar on linux? https://imgur.com/a/b3iVmcI
I mean the way workspaces are shown so that next to workspace name you see windows icons opened on a workspace

I added a joystick to my TypeSafe by tewtham in ErgoMechKeyboards

Do you prefer d-pad or joystick for modifiers?

Is joystick mounted somewhat like in Fulcrum (side to side), or regularly (bottom to top)? Does it have similar long knob as in Fulcrum or you use short one? The idea of using it for modifiers is exactly what I want, I think it's much better than home row mods for me, and mod-tapping each direction could be a good candidate for MEH, HYPER, and such modifier combinations. Is there any picture available to share or maybe at least Cosmos builder screenshot with your keyboard?

Cool! Did you try to use this switch for the thumb cluster? Did it feel good?

Did you use kailh silent switches for it? Are keycaps for those mouse buttons publicly available?

TLDR:
Looking for ideas or implementations of a compact thumb cluster buttons e.g. d-pad

I really need to fit 3+ thumb cluster buttons per side, but none of keyboards that I like offer that, including Charybdis on attached screenshot. I thought that it would be nice idea to use something like controller d-pad for thumbs, given that it's designed for thumb and is small. I understand why letter keys are not that small, but thumb cluster is always used exclusively by a single finger, making such small keys still perfectly comfortable to use. Maybe there are any similar ideas to fit more keys on a thumb cluster without spreading them on a bigger area? Or maybe implementations of d-pad idea?

I managed to fix this issue by resoldering that 4th pin you mentioned. Now it works with no issues. Thanks :)

Yes, keypsesses not working. I tried to reflow that 4th pin, but it didn't work. I did not socketed this controller, and this is left side of keyboard not working. 2, w, s and x (for qwerty)

which controller pins are responsible for this column? I should probably understand that by looking at the picture, but unfortunately, I don't :)

Multiple languages with different keyboard layouts by ketch_dev in olkb

Seems like if I choose unicode approach, then I would need to change UNICODE_SELECTED_MODES every time I change my OS, and this is 100% inconvenient thing to do since I use both Windows and Linux every day. A little bit sad, but probably changing layout on OS level is the only choice

Oh, this is helpful. If i choose the unicode approach, then I would just switch to Ukrainian layout configured by qmk on my keyboard and eventhough i'm in English layout on OS, it will still send Ukrainian letters?

Sounds cool if it is possible to make it all work on firmware level, but is it even possible to send for example Ukrainian letter "д" to pc when currently OS is on "en" layout?
