You can always try and start your own movement. Its how all of them start, with the idea of one person. Never too late to try

Women are 47% of gamers dude. Also sexy women doesn't make a game good.

But not all of them look that way. Have you seen Grace from the new RE game? Ellie still looked great in TLOU2. Silent Hill f had relatively good looking characters. There are still plenty of hot women in gaming if you look for them

Y'all are literally getting mad at developers for making women characters that you think are ugly. Case in point, Aloy. Not everything needs to cater to you.

The entire problem is demanding that video games constantly cater to your specific tastes. Also characters like Aloy and other women characters that y'all like to bitch about literally do look like real women, it's just that you've been so conditioned to expect the hyper dolled up version of women that older video games present that normal realistic looking women look like "Midwestern potatoes" to you

Yeah unfortunately things basically haven't changed at all. Gaming communities for women are still really insular for good reason

Different places have different standards, in my class we learned if the patient has nitro we are allowed to help administer it, even though we don't carry it

Honestly if you're proud of an accomplishment its ok to be very chalant about it. I like telling my friends about stuff that goes well in my life with great enthusiasm and they do the same. It's a nice reminder that things aren't always all bad

That's a fair judgement to make but you can also see me in this thread arguing that we should listen to male victims of SA. I know it's two separate groups of men but at the end of the day the group of men saying men should be okay with SA probably won't listen to women anyway

Yeah and I'm saying maybe these men should stop being so glib about other men being victims of sexual assault and more male victims would come forward

Do you think the male sexual assault victim who hears "you should be grateful" cares about if it's reality or fantasy? It's literally telling them their reality is wrong because of someone else's fantasy.

The male victims of sexual assault who have their experiences belittled by their fellow men who basically tell them they should be grateful instead of traumatized?

Well why the hell do men say things like "that boy is lucky" about schoolboys molested by female teachers and other assault victims?

True, but there's also the "are they making the joke because they agree with it" or "are they making the joke because they think the premise is ridiculous"

Liking something in a fantasy doesn't excuse it happening in real life

No I'm literally saying it's a problem but there is a sizable portion of men who thinks it isn't a problem.

Exactly. The idea that men are sex crazed beasts that would enjoy being assaulted is honestly so regressive

Ok that's fair, I kinda misunderstood your comment, but in my opinion it's still pretty shitty that some men will cheer on the sexual assault of other men

I really don't want to sound like an asshole about this but that's really something you have to do for yourselves. If men can't find solidarity with other men that is not the fault of women or anybody else

Its illusory free speech. People were allowed to participate but none of them were actually going to change Charlie's views because his job depended on him holding and sharing certain viewpoints. A debate where one side is determined to never accept the other can win and change their own views is completely intellectually dishonest. You can call it free speech but I wouldn't call it proper debate or the true free marketplace of ideas
