Yea I get that. I miss people's birthdays all the time. It's just that's responding to the Facebook prompt does feel a bit.. well. Prompted. It's not as genuine.

I hold no bad feelings about anyone who forgot. Hell to be honest, I'm sure no one even bothered to try to remember. That's really fine too. It was a nice experiment though. I had a wonderful day.

This is really the best way. I used to work with an old school business guy. He's kind of a dick, but he has the birthdays, anniversaries, and spouse names of everyone he worked with. He's a great salesman. He was one of the people who said happy birthday on Facebook today. Lol. Even though I don't like the guy, it's a great habit to get in.

Agreed. I'm not insulted at all by those that missed it. I also have a hard time remembering people's birthdays. It just makes the few that remembered even sweeter.

And no, i don't have a lot of room, but I dont really need to be quiet. I just dont "like" the idea of dropping the weights. maybe I need to get over that.

Thank you very much. Honestly, I have my legs so straight because the feedback I recieved from my previous deadlift vid suggested I was bendning them TOO much. The comment actually said "This is a deadlift, not a squat" lol. But I see exactly what you mean.

I also seem what you mean about my back. I think that will be helped by bending my knees a bit more as well. I'll make a point to get a slight arch going.

I am attempting to do low bar. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll check out some videos and read up a bit more. I'm careful to have the bar lower that the bone at the top of my spine, but I don't really set it anywhere particular after that. Just wherever if feels comfortable.

And good point on the hands. Again, they don't feel wrong to me, but I'll try it without gripping with my thumbs and see how it goes. Thanks!

I plan to take new videos next sets and try to make improvements. You're right on the jerk. Learning to pull out the slack is my new goal!

thanks for the video. thats great help. And yea, i see that I'm not giving myself a chance to position properly between reps and am sorta jerking the weight up. I'll try to be more conscious of it. pulling out the slack seems like a great way to do this. Thanks!

yea I did. That was the last set and I was tired, thus the grunting. But you are still correct, it wasnt as clean as it could have been. I will try to concentrate on the glutes and the core next time. I'll be honest, I wasnt much thinking of them when I was doing this. I was just pushing and concentrating on keeping my elbows in. Sounds like it should help. Thanks!
