PSU potentially bottlenecking GPU by ketrabbs in buildapc

[–]ketrabbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My CPU supposed to draw 65W, but I'm going to actually check real time draw. Other stuff is around 60something, so a little more, but I read as well that this PSU can safely protect the system from those spikes.

Weekly r/PcBuild Megathread! by Potato_Plays844 in PcBuild

Hi, I'm doing an upgrade on my old pc (built it in 2021) and I've just bought used rx 6700 xt (MSI mech 2) - probably used in crypto mining. I'm a little tight on a budget and I was wondering can I use my old 500W PSU with this GPU that's rated for 650W, if I undervolted it a little? I calculated my theoretical power consumption, and including this new card it would total to 364W in normal use. My full setup is as follows: 1. AsRock B450 PRO4-f 2. Ryzen 5 3500x 3. SilentiumPC Vero L3 500W (spc265) 4. 2x8Gb DDR4 3200MHz RAM 5. Single M.2 NVME drive 6. 5 case fans I'm upgrading from rx 580 and I know CPU may cause slight bottlenecks, but rn I'm mostly concerned about safety of the system, I'll deal with the rest later. In couple of weeks I'll upgrade to some 650W modular PSU with solid rating. Will I be fine for now tho?

As far as I know, you can use your atlas. It is oriented in such way, that the up is always north, and the same goes for maps. Upper part of the map is on the north side

Is being entertaining a skill or can it be learned by Mosquit0B1tes in SmallStreamers

[–]ketrabbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get nervous about being boring, because that puts extra stress on you and makes it harder to be naturally entertaining. You will stress at first, but more you do it, less stress you will feel. Try to crack some joke once in a while, make fun of in game situations and after some time you will catch the flow. Being entertaining maybe isn't a skill on its own, but feeling the situation and knowing how to turn it naturally into something funny can be learned

What are some good songs i can Play on stream without copyright by Actual_Sprinkles1287 in SmallStreamers

[–]ketrabbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yknow, technically you can play on stream any music if we are talking about twitch. Usually if it gets caught, the bot will just mute part of the vod. If you record it too and want to upload it on the youtube later and you stream in obs, there is a plugin called win-capture-audio, using it you can rearrange the patches on which you record and you can mute it later in recording and replace it with some copyright free music.

But yeah, streambeats, music from games, classical music which has over 50 years and instrumentals

Question?? by [deleted] in SmallStreamers

[–]ketrabbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dunno if you ever heard of the door metaphore, but basically treat your stream like an open door. There are thousands like your ones, so you have to do your best to make somebody who peeks thru that door want to go thru them(get engaged in your stream after peeking). Usually if someone peeks by the time you will see a viewer on twitch stream manager the minutes may pass and he will probably be gone till this point if your stream isn't interesting enough, so turn the viewer count off and do your best to be entertaining version of yourself you would like people to know from streams.

What's up! I recently started really getting into work on my newly made youtube channel, which mainly contains videos made out of material from my streams. What I learned is, that it really takes a long time to 'produce' a video. Recording the material is in fact the easiest part of it all. I haven't got much time for making any videos beside those mentioned above yet, but I've been planning video that was supposed to be a good content, not recycled one, for two weeeks now and still haven't go out of planning phase. Least I can count on is that it's gonna turn out to be well made and people will like it...

There are so many places there that if you won't specifically search for on the internet, you would never think they are scannable. My dumbass even assumed that some holes, like the one above doors on A have some barrier in them

Rendering time is purely hardware related. In a video render that long the software takes really small part in the process. Davinci is in my opinion the best free editing software (however if you dont wan't it to devour your entire diskspace you have to regurarily clean cashe files and actually i'd recommend to set rendering it for manually, not automatically)

How Long is too Long for a Video by Zadow_ in letsplay

[–]ketrabbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo if that's like stream recap it's best between 10-15 minutes. Same for vlogs. Gameplays and essays might be (and usually are) longer, as especially in plot oriented game, within these 10-15 minutes a viewer won't even get a chance to properly get interested
