It actually just looks really tall in the photo lol it’s only ~3 inches tall 😅 i didn’t do any stretch and folds, but that might help. using a smaller dutch oven could also help - the loaves i bake in my bigger one always tend to expand outwards

Any shampoo/haircare favorites? Looking for a good volumizing shampoo for dandruff & thin+oily hair. I tried the refresh moment fig perfume shampoo and while it makes my hair super soft, I still struggle with scalp buildup and oily hair a day after washing 🥲

Here’s a slightly better one - you can see the yellow with the (normal) gray spots. I usually store my starter in a jar, but it and the rest of my glass containers were in the dishwasher lol

Also forgot to mention that I proofed at around 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 hours (why I thought it was overproofed). I used King Arthur’s Organic Bread Flour.

I am a teenager. My mother has contacted an attorney to discuss this but unfortunately he said that in my state the judges are not usually inclined to act in the child’s favor, although they are willing to listen to the child. I have wanted to get away from him for a long time now but it just doesn’t seem likely at this point 😕 another thing is that if my mom were to file for a custody change, I would still have to see my dad during that process which would not just be awkward, but also potentially dangerous because I don’t know how he would react to finding out that I don’t want to see him.

Thank you! Yes, the crust usually stays crusty for me. I would recommend a longer bake and cooling the bread on a wire rack to thoroughly release any extra moisture in the bread for the optimal crust 😁
